Sylvan Beach - 45 minutes. a freaking awesome, if tiny amusement park. Almost all of its rides are incredibly old and incredibly rare. Its only coaster is a Galaxi, but it's still a great place to go. They also have a lot of vintage arcade games, and the nearby restaurants--"Yesterday's Royal", "Eddie's", and "Harpoon Eddie's"--are fantastic places to eat. It's like a mini Knoebels on a lake shore. They also have the only completely original (all stunts are original, and the ride was built in 1954) Pretzel dark ride in existence.

Seabreeze-90 minutes. It's overall more current than Sylvan Beach, and has a fantastic, quaint, family friendly atmosphere. They have Jack Rabbit (fourth oldest coaster in the world) Bobsleds (the only coaster that was transformed from wood to steel until Texas Giant started getting overhauled) and one of the highest rated spinning coasters in the world (Whirlwind.) The only ones that have consistently better reviews are Winjas, Bakken's Tornado, and Dragon's Fury.

Darien Lake-2.5 hours. They got a heck of a lot better in the past few years. Now that Predator got Voyage's old trains, I solidly put it about half way between Hersheypark's Comet and Dania Beach Hurricane. Those trains made a *HUGE* difference. Despite the crap that's been given to RoS, it really does have airtime as strong as Bizarro (and yes, I've been on both) but the thing is it just has three less moments of such airtime. The water park just got a $7.5 million expansion, and although the water park itself is a good addition, they need to take care of capacity; there's not enough tubes, and I had to end up waiting 25 minutes just to get a tube, and then wait again to actually get in line for the new slide tower.

150km? Dude, that's nothing. Especially for something as epic as Europapark.

^Dollywood <3

I'm currently 10 mins from Schlitterbahn, 25 mins from SFFT, and 40 mins from Sea World.

I am moving to Orlando though, which puts me 15 mins from Universal, 20 from Sea World, 40 from Disney, a little longer to Legoland, and about 75 mins from BGT.

It used to be SFMM. I was 45 minutes north. But I just moved to Vancouver, Washington. No theme parks up here.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, 35 mins
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

When I lived in OH, Geauga Lake was 15 minutes from my house, Cedar Point was 1 1/2 hours, Kennywood was 2 hours and Kings Island was 3 1/2 hours. Now I live in Gurnee, IL and SFGam is 1 mile from my house.

I do not have a home park. I quit my last one, and the one closest to me is to ghetto to qualify.

I just moved to Lafayette, IN, so it's Indiana Beach (used to be Holiday World). I'll probably buy some season tickets next year!

my home park is SFGAdv, it's only 45mins away. However it's gotten very expensive so I'm starting to think about switching to Dorney which is 1.5hrs away but a lot less expensive and a lot less crowded.
