Everyone has got to have a few coasters you wish still existed for whatever reason! For me, it'd have to be:

Drachen Fire. Despite how rough it probably was, it was the coaster that made me love coasters, and I never even came close to it [:(]

X. I wish I could have ridden it before the rotations were controlled.

Every ride at Opryland.

I also hate to say this as it seems to be a sensitive subject, but Intimidator 305 pre-trim. *winces*

*Oh yeah and the Crystal Beach Cyclone.

I would agree with all of those. (Although havn't the rotations on X always been controlled by the yellow rails? At least they were yellow before the transformation.)

I never really went to Dorney before Hercules closed, so I wish I coulda ridden that dispite all the bad raps it got.

I'd also like to ride the original Texas Cyclone before all the changes and the "Coffin Cars." That supposedly was one of the best wood coasters around when it was first built.

Orient Express at Worlds of Fun...Even though it had lots of problems later in its life, they could have given it a little tlc but instead they demolished it

The Big Bad Wolf (BGW), King Cobra (PKI), Shockwave (SFGAm), Double Loop (GL).

I miss the Orient Express, but it would have needed millions of dollars in repair. Park maintenance was having a hard time keeping up with the metal fatigue (probably from a combination of underbanked track and a bad batch of steel to begin with).

Drachen Fire would be great to have around, but it, understandably, had to go. Arrow designed it with some new computer software that hadn't been perfected yet, so the ride was built a little optimistically. The trains for the ride didn't help it's problems either.

If you go to youtube and watch a POV of Drachen Fire you can tell it would be painful more so than any other Arrow.

Laser at Dorney, still my favorite ride there, and Hercules because I only got to ride it once
What are these for?

Chiller.

I loved, loved, LOVED chiller, it was so underrated, and even at it's low capacity, and even with it's long lines I still would always wait. Whats even more depressing is that it closed after it was modified, and the modification made it BETTER! I miss chiller so much.

The original Mr Twister at Old Elich Gardens, before they moved the entire park into downtown Denver.

And X hasn't really changed much. The train is lighter and they put in speakers and a fireball, otherwise, same exact ride. Seat rotation has always been controlled. That's what the outer rails are for. Best drop on a coaster in my opinion, though it's kind of rough on the first flip.

Well that's an eye opener. I'm amazed I've never paid enough attention to realize that. So I guess X has actually been improved? That's good news. It's an incredible ride regardless.

Top gun or whatever its called now at Kings Island was a lot better than Big Bad Wolf. I've heard the one at Canadas Wonderland was even better than TG as it runs a shorter train.

I didn't hear Top Gun was so good; I'll have to take a ride on it asap as old Arrows and Vekomas almost seem to be dropping like flies now. (I'll be getting a Plat Pass next year anyway so I'll be able to go to KI later.)

Apparently, Crystal Beach Cyclone operated for quite some time. I thought it was closed only afer a few years for its intensity.

I think it opened around 1927 and closed in like 1946? The KI suspended is now Flight Deck and I personally like BBW a little better but they are very close.

Take it from someone who waited 45 mins for XLC...not worth it. The launch was good but the ride was waaayyyy too short for the ride because it wasnt extremely tall or fast compred to similar launch rides today. Plus it was incredibly rough and was actually fairly painful dispite lap bars only. Personally I would have much rathered an extra ride on Volcano that year I rode it.
