So, I've build a few coasters over the past year or so since my last upload and have decided that this one is at least of an acceptable level. I have wanted to build a wooden coaster with fully custom realstic support structure for quite a while and I ended up using this coaster as a way of sort of experimenting with realistic wooden supports. As a result of this, the supports on this are a mish mash of different looks and styles and therefore is definitely not realistic I've only added custom wide supports to auto generated main structure so it was definitely never going to be particularly realistic.
But neverless, I think the ride itself is pretty cool, at least in places so I'm pretty pleased with it for that. Although the supports and building style of the coaster aren't really pertaining to any style or even that realistic, I've learned a lot about wooden supports and construction while I've been doing this. So this has set me up to start work on that smaller wooden coaster with full custom realistic support structure that I've wanted to build for a while.
A few pictures:
I've got a few bits to finish off, but a lot of it is a bit rushed and it shows but regardless, I'll probably upload in the next couple of days.
Not sure about a name for the thing as I never really intended to upload anyway, so I'll probably just call it Aurora, seems like such a common name and all. [^]
