What coaster do you think is better?
Millennium Force or Intimidator 305 before the trim brakes on the first drop?

Millennium Force seems better because there is just more to it than just fast turns. It has somewhat more character to it than Intimidator does.

Not that Intimidator is not a bad ride - it just does not measure up to MF.

I'd probably like I305 over MF given the trims are gone, but I haven't ridden it in either state so I can't say for sure. MF IMO is too tame though and it really doesn't live up to its name.

I'd say it depends on your physical tolerances. If your stomach can't take sustained high G's, then MF would be the better choice. However, if you're rock solid and tend not to black/gray out on coasters, I305 would probably be more fun for you. I suppose it would also depend on whether or not you like rides that are "TWISTYYYYY!"

I haven't been on I305 yet, but I can already tell that I would like it better. Even with the trims. I am not a huge MF fan at all. The first drop is amazing, but after that the coaster seriously has nothing going for it other than speed. The airtime is fun, but extremely extremely minimal.

I love maverick and it's my favorite coaster of all time (that I've been on) and I305 looks like a mix of Maverick and MF. That seems like the ultimate combo to me! So I vote for I305.

Agreed in that it is my favorite steel, but it can't match some of the great wooden coasters out there.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

I'd go for MF, I liked it more than I305. The height, length, floater air, etc. In overal the ride looks better and feels better.
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)

- Steel: 1268

I definitely prefer I305 over MF. When I ride MF when I go to CP, it's because I'm with someone who loves it and doesn't get to ride it very often. I find it relaxing, not necessarily fun. The first drop is still the best in the world, but as countless have said before me, that's where it ends. My favorite coaster ever is Maverick, and the similarities between that and I305 are exactly the things I love about Maverick, and in the front of I305, the experience is, in my opinion, completely unmatched by anything.

The trims on I305 IMO kill the air on the first hill. If the trims were gone I'd probably have them even, but I have MF with a slight edge. Maverick is awesome though. I have it right there with MF I305 and Apollo's Chariot (God I wanna ride Nitro soon!)

I never rode one of these, but I can say that Millennium Force keeps better looking than I305 and that Millennium Force has a more various layout than I305 which results of only camel backs, high G's turns and blackouts.

more varied layout??? MF is a bigass drop, some overbanked turns, and a few "airtime hills" with some forceless ground turns thrown in the middle so it can make it back to the station.

Maybe he's trying to say, it is not as compact as the 305 layout? I haven't been on either one, nor have I been to those parks. From pictures and videos, 305 looks like it would be a better ride. I think the only thing these two rides have in common are height and that's about it.
