Correct. Dueling/Racing coasters count as 1 coaster. Also, they cannot be picked separate. You cannot just pick Ice Dragon, you get Fire Dragon along with it [:)].

Btw, this was also in the rules [;)]

I'm not saying it is...but your division already has two missed turns and your not even out of round 1 yet. It deff. isn't a race, but we are keeping it moving.

I got somewhat confused with what you said hyyyper, say I pick a dueling coaster. The past years, the pick would take you 2 rounds to complete. Is this year both tracks for the price of one?

Previous years, that was the case. I have changed it because:
1. There are less rounds, and a dueling coasters would not be worth 2 rounds for most people
2. Nowadays, a dueling has little advantage because there are much better 'single' coasters around.

So, in short. You can pick a dueling/racing in one round with any form of penalty or whatever.

That's a good way to fix it. Alot of newer coasters are alot better than racing/dueling ones that used to be at the top of lists.

Originally, I was going to pull a gouldy and save my dueling pick for the last round, but with this I dont really know if I should use it yet...

Edit:

GavG, you've got 3 hours left

Yeah, the people in our coaster draft are using that ridiculous hogwash about having a life outside of Coastercrazy.com

Pff... those people just don't know what's important in life...

Life or no life, I asked very clearly not to join the draft if you don't plan on checking the site once a day.

Perhaps using 12hr turns next year would speed things up.

^ THen you would get into time zone issues. SOmeone picking it at 1:00 in one area might be 9:00 in another, and then if the person didn't check by nine in the morning he would get skipped over.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Yea...24 hours is good because anyone who really wants to do this checks at LEAST 2 or 3 times a day...I keep it up in my browser all day and hit refresh every hour or two.

Well, if you would check at 9 PM, you would have to make sure you get up before 9 AM to check it again.
If you really want to play the game, it shouldn't be a problem and otherwise you shouldn't sign up [:)]

Thruth is, I dunno what to do with the draft each year, I try to make it as fair as possible, but it hard to satisfy everybody.

Pleasing all off the people all off the time is hard but pleasing most of the people most of the time is a happy meduim [:)]

With so many people you aren't going to satisfy everyone, but you are doing a great job I think.

I'm not changing my sleep schedule for a coaster draft. Is waiting 24 hours really a problem for people? I don't think either game are going that slow.
