I kinda think they can't do much worse then they have already done to it.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Which is exactly why they would do it. As slo said, I think they have ruined it enough already. Coasters for the most part are exactly that...not audio video hoo-hah bull crap. Why does SF feel the need to ruin what many say is the best coaster on the planet?

This on the other hand is a good move for Dreamworld because it will turn a ride experience much more exciting than it originally was. There is a time for change and a time to let be.

Wouldnt that hurt? When you slow down in a brake run you feel like you get pulled forward pretty hard and it is usually only about .6 gs into your harness. But doesnt that launch have like 2 Gs on your back usually? Or is it a slower more gradually launch?

The initial sequence that actually gets you moving isn't too bad. It is a much more gradual acceleration compared to things like Storm Runner where you get to Max. Speed in about 2 seconds. This takes about 6 to 7 seconds I believe.

And Oscar, you're absolutely correct. Lol.

Ruin it more than the fatty you mean.

If they do decide to reverse one side of Superman SFMM, there go the awesomely short queues. We'll revert back to 3 hrs wait for 30 second ride. But I like the idea. If only they would launch Superman like they used to. In the last 4 park visits, it only makes it halfway up the tower, which is lame.

I still say they should scrap the top half and use the money to give it a new paint job.

Nah,slo, that would suck cause they're 2 freefall towers built on two sides of the huge tower support(highest freefall worldwide).

^ I rode Demon Drop at Dorney finally the other day...cooler than I expected and didn't rattle as much as I expected. The roughest part was the transfer track back to the station when it flips the car right side up! Lol.

Tower of Terror backwards? Awesome. This shall help it live more up to its name - Tower of TERROR - Now you can actually see everything below instead of just blue sky above, and then falling face-first back down. Helps the ride?????????s insanity level, and I agree perhaps it should add to the intensity shooting backwards not knowing when you?????????re going to hit the tower.

It works fine, PTC just doesn't like it. They won't service trains or honor warranty if they aren't used as intended. Paramount (and I guess Six Flags Great America) used to do their train tear downs/rebuilds in house, so it was never a problem for them, but Cedar Fair sends them to PTC, so that's why all the others got turned around.

That initial launch looks painful...

In this case, I would probably rather have OTSRs than lap bars, because at least with OTSRs you would have something to be pushed into.

In this case, No...

I'd rather have the OTSR's instead of doing a head butt against the seat in front of me.

Looks pretty cool to me. And is it just me or does this tower look more powerful than both Superman sides together? [lol]
