Nice kitty! I don't care what anybody says about cats... they make really good pets and friends.

Sorry to hear about your other cat... I know how rough that must have been. I've had my cat for 21 years (she's 22), and I know her day is getting close. I've had her so long, I can't imagine life around the house without her.

If someone wants to kill me, all they have to do is put a cat in my face. I am freaking allergic to them. I hate them for that reason alone!

*Orders large quantity of cats for the inevitable war on the Mexicans*

Cute looking cat there Jay! Sucks though that you other cat had to go. I very much know the feeling, I used to have a cat called Tonto, she was pretty awesome. It was my mom's cat, she'd had it for a long while even before I was born. When I was about 10 or so, she died aged 22. We buried her in the garden and put a grave stone, all the usual junk [lol] Obviously I was only 10 so it took me quite a while to get over it, first time I'd ever had to deal with death and stuff of course.

Just to answer your question:
My 2 cats disappeard(I live on a farm in a forrest)and we had to give one dog away, since he was to big and strong to handle.I grew up with a dog and we had to put him down when he was 13[V]
and the other dog had cancer we had to put him down too,he was 7 years old.
I don't kill my pets,I love them!Now I have 3 cats and a dog.

It is because he doesn't understand the English No, you have to talk to him in Swiss language. That is why he did not stop molesting you when you said No. Because No in Swiss actually, "Yes, keep it going!"

I got two kittens a couple years ago a brother and sister, after having them for a year I moved house and within a couple months at my new place the girl got hit by a car. She was mentally non-responsive for about a week at the vets; they kept telling me she might come back and that its due to a lot of blood pressure on her brain. That vet then went on holiday and his replacement told me (at 1 in the morning) that she should be put down. So we did.
Almost exactly a year later it was the brothers turn. We left the house with the intention of going to see a movie when we heard him crying. I found him in his usual hedge meowing in a deafening tone. When i went to get him he came up to me, then when he realised i wanted to pick him up he walked away- thats when i noticed his tail and back-right leg where being dragged along; like dead weight.
The vets took him in, again for about a week waiting to see if he got any movement back in them. I don't know if he was hit or if he fell out a tree. The vets think he was hit because all of his nails where rubbed off. But the hit gave him nerve damage, which meant his tail and usually both back legs become paralysed, and also stops his toiletry features working too.
After two/three weeks in the vets, he had his legs amputated and not too long after his tail amputated too. He regained the ability to go to the toilet.

Both instanced rip me up, and for a 21 year old guy I cried a LOT, obviously no where near as much as my misses. Whether to put the boy to sleep or not was difficult, i was lead primarily by the vets, and with them it never came into question. If he couldn't go to toilet then yes, he would've been put down. He is very happy now, and the other day he came in with not one, but two birds in his mouth. So his leg and tail haven't affected him at all.

The boy is called Kremlin, and his sister is Calypso, and together they cost me over ?????????2000 in vet bills because I didn't have pet insurance. It was ?????????199 alone to cremate Caly, plus another ?????????150 to make sure it was her ashes i got back rather than a mix!

I can't believe people have cats that have live to 22! I've never had the honour of meeting a cat so old.
