The term flying snake dive refers to the last element of the sequence of two inversions on Storm Runner, not the whole thing. But yes, it's equally possible that it curves up and to the right, rolls left in a barrel roll, and continues into a smaller version of a flying snake dive. It won't be steep though, judging from the turn shaping there. It's too wide for a drop to be steep.

At the very least it appears to have pretty good negative forces.

And you gotta love those Intamin transitions! I hope they ride as well as Maverick!
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Nice. If you watch 3 then 1 immediately, you can see much of the first half of the ride. Looks pretty cool...awkward transition into that figure 8. I wonder if that will be the same on the real one.

Ugh, that tower element is soo boring. I was hoping it to be something like RingRacer's element, but this is just so un-intamin and very uncool.

BTW, here's the updated layout:

Well it at least will have good air entering and exiting. I think it's more for theming and such than thrill, whereas the rest of the ride is more for thrill. I think they just wanted a distinguishing element.

It's like 200' of a 5000' long ride hyyyper. It also sets up for a very high speed section....nice progression IMO.

signature element for marketing purposes more than anything else. Looks alright, is probably just a bit dull in the middle of the element. But it's sure going to look imposing from ground level, with the themeing on it the way that it is.

What it looks like to me is that the ride builds in excitement as it goes on, and the tower is just a precursor to the climax of the ride. They are probably saving the best clips for last.

I think people will be pleasantly surprised by the tower element...it SHOULD be a lot more fun than that video leads you to think...

Let's hope you're right.

Some of the clips make some parts of the ride look VERY slow, slower than I think they'll seem in reality, so we can hope that the same is true for the clip of the tower element.

I was suprised at how much speed it gains exiting the tower. A little cgi exaggerating I'm guessing.

Aside from that, I think, depending on how high the element is, should be a nice touch. Regardless, it will look impressive and its the only thing between 2 launches so the forces entering and exiting look setup to be great.

I hope that tower element is more exciting than that.

I think the speed on this is more than enough. In fact, based on the look of things, they actually launch it even faster after an over 100 foot drop

By the way, look at the very beginning of that video carefully...

The left turn at the start is already going quite fast, and the ride appears to launch again in the trench.

That ought to put the launch count at 4. Quite simply, that is insane.

I think the speeds in all of the videos are screwed up, because if you look at it closely, the train appears to accelerate ridiculously fast as it dives down from the tower element.

Not so much screwed up as accentuated for effect, if you ask me. Seems their intention was to make it more exciting for the average viewer. Good idea if you ask me.

so now we know the entire ride don't we? That was everything that was left, possibly apart from what happens just after you exit the station. We know there's at least one inversion then, but I think it is the only inversion. What we may have thought to be two heartline rolls in a row seem to just be OTT "trick-track" style transitions.

That terrain waterfall section looks incredible.

Cool, nice and long video this time. A trick track section and a nice heartline roll. Looks like it's going to be a fun ride.

I wonder what they are going to show on the final video.

Probably offride shots or all of them put together to form the whole ride.
