G Force Mag have done an interview with the man himself, Nick Buckley.

Even he admits its cruel, but he has released a 3D rendering of what was, the proposed Flamingo Land woodie!

Although he doesn't say its been cancelled full stop, it is most definitely on hold for the moment.

That doesn't look like a particularly good woodie layout, though of course you can tell from the lift hill alone that it's not exactly the most accurate NL version of a ride ever.

I do wonder who the builder was supposed to be. It doesn't strike me as anything GCI, TGG or Intamin would build/design.

If anything, it looks like the UK dodged a bullet!

The layout looks a lot like Fireball to me so I don't see why TGG would be unlikely.

However, if I remember correctly, it was supposed to be built by Stand company with hardware from Vekoma, like Loup-Garou/Robinhood/Thundercoaster.

It doesn't look like a great design, but what ever, The UK needs woodies.

Funnily enough I have a NL Project for a GCI that I designed to fit in the coach park by Corkscrew.

I think it has a cool looking layout honestly, it's just really spread out. Especially for a twister.

It reminds me of the Vekoma woodies on the continent. I think it looks like a great ride personally.... the double up could be a ton of fun.

It looks to me like an RCCA woodie layout. I think it would have some nice forces at some moments but when I look at the layout, It doesn't look like it's going to be a wooden coaster that breaks into peoples top 20.
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268

There's no trace of them online, perhaps they did go under?

Yes. Parks often use Nolimits renders. From the top of my head, Kentucky Rumbler, Voyage an Boosterbike used NL to showcase the new ride. I'm sure there are several others but I can't think of them at the moment.

Basically, whenever a park likes the idea of having a 3D model/3D video/3D pictures of it's future coaster, but doesn't want to pay Keith McVeen for his marketing services, they use NoLimits!

and whats wrong with that i ask? its possiable to build a very accurate and realistic coaster with no limits.

not only is it popular with us but with the parks too.

anyway the coaster looks abit meh, lots of hills but only a very mild amount of airtime judgeing by the looks of it.
