What's an altime favrite? Is it another type of roller coaster?...

It's funny how defensive people get over a roller coaster. One of my favorites is Raging Bull, but people say it's lame all the time. Do I care? No. If the guy wants to think it's lame, let him think that it's lame.

Yes, but BDash isn't lame like Raging Bull.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

What about Mr. Moon's sex rituals? Banging 6 women is probably better but I wouldn't know.

No it isn't. It is a prefab which means that most of the awesome, out of control qualities you would find on a classic wooden coaster are not present.

I highly doubt that BDash beats you up. Also, I got to ride Voyage on its opening day, smooth as any steel Ive been on. Tracked just absolutely gorgeous. Of course over time it ends up getting worse but you cant make that argument because wooden coasters arent meant to be super rough. They are meant to have lots of forces but they arent meant to beat you to death. Thats the fault of the park owners.

Voyage Reverse POV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZnWC8WtOfM

Piraten Reverse POV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6Sc7vCGS7w

Real, Voyage at opening was not *that* smooth...I've seen the reverse POV taken before or at opening.

I know you haven't been on Piraten, but I also know most steel Intamins I've ridden have a bit of a rattle, so consider that the ride is probably not at the very top level of steel coaster smoothness. I'm guessing it's likely average for new steel rides you've ridden. It just happened to be the best reverse POV I could find quickly...or at least the most similar in setup to Voyage's reverse POV.

Now I don't want you to look at the camera shake...that's because the camera is not mounted like it is on the Voyage video. I'd like you to pay attention to rider body motions, which in the end is most important anyways. I'm not even discussing hard and intentional transitions, because I know you're not...I'm talking about tracking. What I'd like you to notice is the smooth body motions in relation to the bouncing throughout most of Voyage.

Maybe you're exaggerating for effect, not sure, but I don't think that statement holds any truth. Yes, it may have been very smooth for a wooden coaster...that I don't doubt. But I believe it was never as smooth as an average new steel coaster, and I think those two videos very clearly support my thoughts.

Dan, were you on it opening day? I dont think so, unless you avoided me the whole day. Would have been easy to spot each other, the park was dead.

It WAS that smooth. I rode it 26 times. Millennium Force has more shake in its trains than Voyage had its opening day. It was smoother than Raptor.
Considering that there will be a degree of shake and taking that into effect, it still tracked smoother imo that day (although it wasnt running as out of control at all) than rides Ive had on Raptor, MF and Maverick (which last time I was on it was developing that Intamin rattling)

Sorry, you weren't there to ride it and experience that so you don't really have a valid argument. Youre assuming.

I personally Like Intamin Rattle. I hate when steel coasters, its boring, kinda like Riddlers Revenge. The rattling adds thrill, but the rattle isn't enough to be bad.

I have presented you with what I consider very convincing evidence, rather than more than 4 year old memories. It'll win in court every single time.

To be honest, I think the fact that your only argument is that I wasn't there kinda tells the story itself lol.

Except you're comparing apples and oranges. Does your ego REALLY need for you to "prove Real wrong" that badly?

If he thinks it was smoother than a steel coaster then he thinks it was smoother than a steel coaster. You haven't ridden what he has ridden under the exact same conditions that he has. There are dozens of factors you're not considering at all (you SHOULD know these better than I do considering you're going to be a goddamned engineer). Maintenance, temperature, weight of the riders in the train, your mood, pain sensitivity, the fact that they're designed to do totally different things, etc

I swear to god you're like a high maintenance prissy girl on her period sometimes.
