Wacky Worlds expan pack released! (Mini reivew)

Well, RCT2: Wacky Worlds finaly hit the stores. Is it worth the $29.95? Well, read my review below.

I was lucky enough to get a copy of RCT2:WW, and in my own opinion, it's not worth the $29.95 they are charging. Wacky Worlds includes tons of new objects and walls, which are pretty cool, but they could of added some more new types of flat rides. Most, if not all of the claimed new rides are re-themed current rides and coaster trains. Other besides that, I don't realy see anything that makes this expan pack stand out.

Be smart and wait for the price to come down, then run out and buy it.

I heard that that it had night mode & fire works.I would really like to see track-transfers for coaster so we dont have to close coasters to put another train on the track.That way we dont have to lose all the peeps in the q-line.

Anther thing, once you install Wacky Worlds from the cd-rom, that cd-rom becomes useless, you still need the first RCT2 cd-rom to play the game.

I agreewith you shaggszgn. In WW you have 5 new themed versions of the good old twist:( And the new theming elements is not good. Some of them are weird and they do not have that rollercoaster tycoon feeling. Another thing that diseapointet me is that we don't have the pyramide raise land thing from RCT 1:(

hello, i have a question about RCT2:WW, do the game let you make Skyscrapper or Tall building that is in BIG cities theme?

Yes, they have skyscrapper walls and roof objects.

What someone said about night time and fireworks, i dont think they have that in rctww. I have the game and i dont think it has it.[?]

What I'm going to do is wait for the next expansion to come out and they'll make it and probably have Wacy Worlds included like they did with Loopy Landscapes. I personally think that roller coaster tycoon 1 is better.

um...well since RTC 2, is exalcty like 1, i like 2 better cuz its got more themes and the 'build your own senarios'

I really don't know if it will ever be worth it, it just adds more scenery that you cant use, or really just more decisions. When you have the option to have as much as you want then a expansion pack will be nice

thats exactly what im gonna do, its the same with most of these games now. They release one expansion pack, then the release the next with the old update on it aswell

If you notice, almost everygame made that has expansions end up doing that. I just hope that they make it a little more worth the money (not even what is present now w/ wacky world will make it really worth it)

y don't rct just have downloads of teh net for upgrades like nl?? or are they losing money??
