Home Economics Project - Sketchup

So, in Home Ec we have to design an ultimate bedroom. Most people are going to be drawing theirs, but I decided to make mine in Google Sketchup. So far I have completed the bed and I am now working on a TV stand.

If you needed to create the ultimate bedroom I would create the station of Montu with a mattress next to it.

Too boxy.
Round those corners.

If you have pro 7: use roundcorner (a tool you can download somewhere [i have it :p]) and it automatic rounds the corners you highlighted

Those pillows would NOT be good to rest your head on! Of course, if only Sketchup could let you model them... (*ahem 3DS Max *cough)

You could always make the bedroom in... The Sims lol. Then photoshop in a downscaled toy coaster replica of your choice. (You could also import a toy coaster object if you know how to mod.)

Curvy table legs break easier when you do stuff on the table FYI

yeah I don't have 3ds. max coasteragent99 and sketchup sucks. It has no grid and you have to add seperate lines to move stuff and poop.

Oh and gouldy, I was taking chinese but then it got cancelled. Plus all i do in home ec is steel this kids pencils and break them, plus i sit in a kitchen with two of my best friends so... yeah.

BTW, render it when you're done, and it'll automatically look a ton better.

And coasteragent, you can very easily model pillows in SketchUp. Different procedure from 3dsMax, but they'll still look good especially for a purpose like this.
