Huss Frisbees suck. They don;t go very high and you have a horibble view. Plus there is no airtime.

Than obviously you'd never had a good ride on those machines. When the drive tires swing it all up to the 90????????? AND than with the turbo on. It's an awesome machine! [pshades] You just have the bad luck that you had a horrible operator or a horrible program...

Canobies frisbee is amazing.

And the new coaster will be going in the ball field behind the casino/antique cars/Cannonball. The frisbee did indeed take Rockin' Rider's spot.

Thank you freddie for paying attention and actually answering my question. No wonder forums become insane, people go waaayyy off topic. Instead of answering the question about the new ride placement, it became a debate over something not even relevant to the topic. Wow!

They could legitimately claim steepest in New England or even the north east...or not claim anything at all because Canobie isn't really that kind of park.

The whole "Steepest drop" thing is quite difficult to justify for anyone. When you think about it, the coaster with the steepest drop surely must be any flying coaster with a pretzel loop, seeing as a pretzel loop is essentially a 360 degree drop, 263 degrees steeper than a standard 97 degree Eurofighter drop [lol]

One problem. The drop stops at the bottom, so steeper than 180????????? would be impossible...

^ I know this to be true, but you could argue that the motion of change in direction continues and therefore is part of the same "dropping" motion, even when you're going back up. It's very difficult to distinguish where you draw the line, because it is all relative to how you define "drop".

You might say for example that the screaming squirrels and the El Locos don't count as "drops" because the speed of the car is controlled during the decent. You can say that the second half of the pretzel loop doesn't count because a "drop" can only reach a maximum of 180 degrees, or that the pretzel loop can't count at all because it appears on a flying coaster where riders start from a position 90degrees to the normal. You could say that anything past 90 degrees doesn't count because you are inevitably heading back to the normal plane.

Like I say, it's a difficult subject to classify.

Seems like a perfectly logical path for a topic about a new eurofighter. Certainly at least until we get some construction pics of this ride.

I think I have a solution that everyone will be satisfied with. It will be the "Steepest drop in New Hampshire"

Well those 'pointless records' can be used as a great marketing tool for parks. To the general public, what would interest them more?

The worlds tallest and fastest roller coaster!

or

A very original concept designed by blah blah blah....
This is not my signature.
