You are allowed to take a camcorder into the park, but you can not take it on any of the rides, or in line for any of the rides as well.

If you have a smaller camcorder, you might be able to sneak a few great shots off the sky ride on the main midway. You get some nice views of Wicked Twister and Raptor. I was able to take some stills from that ride with no problems. Dragster, the launch and the tower is very close the midway, you can get some awesome shots there as well. Depending on who's operating the sky tower(or whatever they call it), you might be able to record some great footage of the whole park.

you never know. i'm going cause i want to go on mellenium force, c, everyone will be drawn towards ttd, leaving the MF wait dramatically reduced, allowing me to get on alot more. i'll try for ttd but there'll probably be a 3 hour wait, 2 long in the heat for me.

Don't expect M-Force's line to be any shorter. If you go on a weekend during peak season, or during the week of July 4th(sometimes, but advoid July 4th at all costs), expect a 30+ minutes waits for most of the coaters, close to 2 hours, if not more waiting time for M-Force, and 3+ hours wait for Dragster. Also remember, the line for Dragster, if all 6 trains are running, will more alot faster then M-Force's line. They can cycle 5-6 trains on Dragster around the same time it takes one train to finish the course on M-Force.

i'm going w/ my parents to a friends house in indiana for 4th july, then they said we would probably go to CP around the 8th, so it'll be interesting to see how it is, as long as i get on MF and good footage, i'll be happy.

Oh, anther thing, CP always does a nice job with putting up tons of fans/misters in the lines, and also has tarps over lines.
