This happend to me. If you have vista, or newer, the crosstie's if I remember right go to a different folder, so the construction kit can not load it. You need to go to the construction kit folder, then go to the top and click "Compatibility files", cut the folders, and paste in the right folder. Then it should work.

I did this a whole ago, so if it does not work let me know. I should be able to remember.

What kind of track is it you're trying to load? If it's anything later than a 1.5 exclusive, the construction kit will not load it, because it's an old piece of software.

It's a 4 seat ptc.

Edit: knexrule, there is no compatibility files button that I can find. Can you clarify that a bit more?

i had this issue allso..
you need to go into the settings for the cross ties and choose the right one and load it..
the best thing to do is make sure both the crosstie's and the program are in the same folder.
just make a folder and put all of it in one folder.
wish i could show you a pic on here of what to do.. but i cant
im using windows 7 :(

Are the .ocobject files in the same folder as the construction kit file? Make sure they are, because they need to be in the same directory.

The botton for me (Vista) is on the top bar when your in the folder. If the .ocobject files are in the construction kit folder, idk what to do.

How do you get the construction kit Is it for paths and buildings?
If so I need it for a new ride I am working on.

Actually, using a newer tracktype for the NLCK just don't make the track appear. You can easily fix that by rendering the spine to an existing spinemodel.

It's for editing tracksstuff or exporting the track to a 3ds. If you need it, check the sticky topic in this subforum.
