In the No Limits editor there is one main thing that comes to my attention. Before when both of my drives were full, that was an obvious reason for it to be slow. Now that I have windows 7 and brand new hard drives, there is no explanation for it to be slow. I currently have 435 GB of free space on my hard drive, and I haven't downloaded anything since then. The No Limits editor just out of no where decides to be slow like it used to be. Even when I open a blank, it is still slow. Any idea of what it might be?

PS: If you guys help me out then I will have a recreation made the best you have ever seen. Well for that coaster at least.

Mine randomly decides to do the same thing, but after I start up the simulator once & then exit, it goes back to normal. See if that works.

You should always keep your graphics card drives up to date

Basically, you have to find out what your video card model is (on Windows 7, right click Computer (or what used to be My Computer, now it's just a computer that belongs to no one lol) and go to properties. Click on the Windows Experience Index text and it will display your specs, including your video card.

Once you find that, go to the manufacturer's website; ATI or nVidia. (Or Intel if you're unlucky.) Navigate around the site and find the drivers for your specific video card model. (With the correct operating system of course.) Download the .exe and double click to install.

Google if you have trouble.

On the Nvidia website, there is a button that says automatically find my graphics card

However if you have no clue what graphics card you have, you can find it by...

Go to the Control Panel > Hardware > device manager, under display adapters category, your video card will list there.

click start, where it says 'run' type in this exactly:

dxdiag

and hit return. This will automatically scan your computer and tell you everything you need to know. But hitting windows update will update your drivers for you.

maybe its windows 7... is anyone else running NL in windows 7? Right-click on your No Limits desktop icon and select properties, then compatibility and select run in XP.

What kind of computer/model? Might have a big HDD, but poop ass RAM, Graphics card or processor. You could be having some 64bit troubles, too; if thats the case.

Oh, you're having issues with the NL Editor. (Didn't read the OP carefully enough.) There's a good chance that its running in software mode (aka poop). How do you usually launch the NL editor? Via shortcut or directly? If you do it via shortcut, then that's likely to be the problem.

I found the problem, I put the rendering software on the bottom menu bar and it ran slow. I took it off and put the editor on and now it works great. Thanks anyway though guys!

Sure enough it was software mode. I would've recognized that much earlier if I read the OP more carefully, damn.
