Wat?

Ferraris really are not my kind of car, but to call them trash is a little excessive, surely? Extremely well balanced cars with pretty highly advanced computer technology. They're the mathematician's sports car, they lack a bit of feeling and as such are a bit limp but put them on a track and they'll rip your face off. They're like the Newton of the car world [lol]

Germans can do better for cheaper...with cupholders included.

Italian flashy worthless trash that thrives on marketing.

It was a joint venture between GM and Toyota. It's a Toyota Matrix with a GM designed interior. All of the parts have stickers in japanese on them including the engine.

So no it is not an American piece of crap, and it was not bought for me.

Notice that as they crest the first hill, Fernando Alonso (on the right of the screen) loses the entire contents of his pocket and doesn't even realise.

Germans can build very good cars, very very good cars. But only in cooperation with others. On their own they produce cars like the VW Beetle.... wtf is that poop?

I am a grad student. If I could afford one, I'd have to be in the mafia or something at this age.

According to consumer reports, Japanese cars are actually among the highest quality and reliability, at least in the US. I'm not speaking in terms of super cars or luxury vehicles, but vehicles the majority of people can afford. Specifically honda, toyota, and subaru.

Italian supercars aren't built for practicality or daily driving. Hence the lack of cup holders. They are VERY well built machines and they do what they are supposed to do.

On topic - Aside the couple of coasters, Ferrari World seems like it would bore me. I don't waste my time looking at super cars, because I'm almost certain I will never be able to afford one. If I work hard I may be able to afford a nice used Porsche before I'm old enough to retire. Until then, cars like my 09 Si coupe will do fine.

To be fair it looks like a neat place, it's just there is only so much "THIS IS FERRARI!" one can take in a day.
