People seem to slag off the Harry Potter films for a sport, but they're honestly not that bad. The flaws only come out so much because they're so damn popular. Same goes for Avatar; its not brilliant, but its not worthy of all the hatedom either.

But anyway: Tron Legacy
Screw Commercialism. It's Dr.Gumbo, not CokeZero.

I'm probably alone in my anticipation of this movie because this site is dominated by 20-something guys that probably wouldn't be caught dead at a Disney movie, but I personally can't wait for Disney's "Tangled." Judging from some critics' early reviews, this movie could be the first truly fantastic Disney movie since "Mulan" and "Tarzan."

As a Brit, I do feel as though I must apologise to everyone for the Harry Potter series, however, the next one actually looks like it is halfway towards being decent/exciting. AND at least now the girl is of an age where when you say "I would like to taste her minge", people don't attempt to lynch you. Although she has now cut her hair into "12 year old boy" hair. Why has she does this, why?

Tell me about it, i was starting to think she's now coming of age where its 'ok' to look. As a man, i constantly thirst for eye-candy and she's about as good as it gets with Harry Potter.
They are good movies, i gave up on the books after about book 3 where i became of age where burning books was funner.

As for Skyline, be careful. I've heard that 90% of the movie was filmed inside the directors appartment. The other 10% was where they ran outside and then retreated back in. I question sound quality too.

the movies are american and okish ut the books are fantastic and i have read all of them at lease 3 times, however the final book was not as good as the rest

one movie is coming next year, the new pooh movie YAY

Gaz, they are shot, edited, special effects added and produced in the UK, using 90-95% British actors and actresses (using the terms "actors" and "actresses" loosely, perhaps read: young people deemed to sort of fit the role but not necessarily with any acting skill)... how much more British do you want them to be? [lol]

I wouldn't say that having an American director made the films "American", when the entire cast (apart from some Irish people) where British and they were filmed in England and all of the editing and producing etc. has all been UK work.

Even so, all of the films so far have been fairly hideous, thanks in no small part to the godawful acting ability of the main characters and the continuing numerousness of Hermione's clothing.

Saw it, really good actually. Less action packed than the previous movies, but that was quite refreshing. A nice entertaining movie. I recommend it.

True Grit, 127 Hours, and Black Swan. They all look fantastic!

and as for Harry Potter: anyone who says they are "horrible" books is ignorant, wrong, and not worth saving. As for the movies, they are major underachievers as a whole. But the 7th film did actually satisfy me for once.

Better. [;)]

Spielberg's making a CGI Tintin movie, which could be interesting.

You guys probably don't care, but I thought "Tangled" was amazing! Disney hasn't made such a wonderful movie since when I was like 7. I felt like I was a kid again watching it, and it brought back such great memories for me.

Now I get to be excited for Narnia next!

Bioshock is going to be a movie. Gore Verbinsky left the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise to direct it. Should be really freaking awesome if they pull it off right. Horror/action in that amazing environment they created in the game...

Which unfolds in a first person viewpoint, which is something I seriously doubt will be used in the movie, and generally makes things inherently terrible.

Example: Resident Evil
"Careful man, there's a beverage here!"
