I might wanna be a ride operator at Kings Island since it's the closet to me. I've heard good and bad about working at KI. Has anyone worked for a Cedar Fair park?

I might work at Valleyfair. But I'm 14, so I can only work at food stands. Anyone ever worked at a food stand at a amusement park? If so, was it exciting, boring, etc? My mom does not want me to, she says I will get bored and hate it right away. Opinions?

Thanks!

I was an Op in 09 (Talon) and a Lead in 10 (Meteor/Balloon Race) at Dorney. If you can handle the guests being stupid and what-not its ok. But dont expect to get paid much more then 7.30-7.40 an hour. No holiday pay and no overtime. Also, I hear all CF parks allow their operators one day off per week scheduled.

I might go back but I dont count on it.

Come out of the closet, Fear the Four.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

I won't technically be applying, since I don't work there seasonally, but I am / will be working at Castaway Bay.

I already applied for Area Rides Supervisor at Cedar Point... I already know I'm not gonna get it, but will be a Team Leader in Area 1 (Front of park to end of sky ride). Going back for 4th season!

universal or sea world for me
dont plan on working for disney
but i could work for universal..
i worked at sfot back in 07-09 and did mostly everything.. trash, ride attendent, ride op, locker addendent,
you do become kinda annoyed at the stupidity of the guest and some times your boss.
i might go back to working for a theme park on the side while i deal with college

I have worked in a themepark and it was fun as long as it lasted. I'm not going for a job application at a themepark. Most themeparks are just too far away to have as a job. (About all parks are minimum an hour drive.)

Belmont park doesn't suck. It's a cool boardwalk with a very fun classic wooden coaster. [:)]

Do you really want to be a part of the slow and crappy staff at that park?

Nah, I'd be the person who makes them faster.
If they did not move at at least 400% of their current speed, Their parents will be shot. EDIT: And then fed to them.

I might apply at Toverland or Efteling this summer, but I prefer to work at Toverland since that is closest to Eindhoven, although it only differs about 10 miles
