Howdy Ya'll [dorkhat]

I'm building a Log flume called Coal Mountain Log Ride. When it's done, it's be the wildest, wettest experience in the west

This here log flume be based of the Log Jammer and the Six Flags Magic Mountain.

By the way folks, the transports are gonna be through the whole ride, except the drops to, add realistic friction form the water. They're will also be transports after drops that slow it down, because you know some log flumes have brakes and such after the drops.

Ya'll please leave constructive critisizm now.

Tank ya,

Looking good so far. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out as I've always wanted to try this. Are you planning on doing somewhat extensive 3ds?

I will do 3ds for the flume track and for the lifts and stuff. Idk about 3ds for the station and stuff. I might just build that out of supports.

I saw this earlier and thought it said coal mine... not log flume. lulz If you don't plan on making the station a 3ds, you should at least make the railings and posts out of simple log 3ds; it'll look better than a bunch of rectangular planks for them instead. I'm really curious to see where this ends up going though.

^Thanks yeah i'll probably have to make everything 3ds to keep the mountain feel

btw, i plan on doing other log flumes sometime but i decided to start with something like the one at magic mountain because it really does not have a bunch of scenery and its out in the trees. Mines kinda in between. It's not gonna be mostly indoors in a compact layout like splash mountain, but out doors up on a mountain with the tress with some 3ds log cabbins, characters, tunnles, etc.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Ever feel like doing a recreation...

Thats the Log Flume from the now replaced-by-a-costco Kiddieland in Illinois. It was always awesome, no matter what age. Who knows, could be a challenge with the in-ground flume parts and mini-lake part. It would be a 3ds winner if you could pull it off, too.

It's gonna have a similar layout (if you have not already seen) but 3ds cabins and stuff like i mentioned earlier. Just thought I'd post that so you get a feel for whats gonna be coming.
