Yeah Thunderhawk at Dorney and Comet at Hershey are both like that, though I don't think they were crooked quite to that degree.

Comet at Hershey is crazy warped. I could feel the car twisting before we even got to the lift. But overall, I'm gonna have to choose steel in this poll. Granted, I haven't really ridden any good woodies (only El Toro, but that's more like a steelie than a woodie anyway) so my opinion may change once I do, but as of now it's steel ftw.

Yeah I'm about the same as you boneplaya. Best I've ridden is El Toro, and other than that, probably Villain. I rode in 2003 and it seemed very very smooth in the front row, so I didn't really have any complaints like I hear from others. Too bad Tsunami/J2/Hellcat was ridiculously rough and aggressive, because I really liked that layout. It could be a great ride if it weren't so violent, and paced faster...something smoothing and subsequent the removal of the trims would likely achieve.

Wood, Easily... Too bad there are only 167 running woodies out there. I just cannot believe that I've ridden already 63 of them. That's about 38% out of all running wooden coasters... [shocked]

We need more woodies on this planet...
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
- Wood: 142
- Steel: 1268
