I just finished the track work on my new coaster. It's a CCI and Gravity Group inspired design. I am going to try to do custom supports on this one. Let me know what you think of it so far.
3109 feet long
104 feet tall
52 mph top speed
lots of airtime and twists

haha yeah I tried but I may give up. The interface for custom wooden supports is terrible, as is the auto-support generator.

I don't know what CCIs you've been on, but that looks nothing like the CCIs I've seen. Tbh that's a good thing, but calling a CCI-inspired ride might turn some people away [;)] I'm just saying this looks more GG than anything else. Keep up the good work, though. It looks marvelous!

Please tell me that you did not just suggest that CCIs were bad.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Well yes it is mostly GG inspired, but there are two double down elements, one which is way more CCI looking. I guess you will have to wait to see once I figure out what I am doing with the supports...

finally got around to finishing the supports. I did what I could with them, just edited sections after using the auto-support generator. Should be up sometime tonight.

Yikes, those supports look quite sloppy. I suggest looking at some pictures of GG/CCI designs on RCDB, or some other source, and try to mimic their structures. Take your time, it's worth it in the end. [approve]

Yeah, I really like your layout so I also agree with what he says. Also even if you don't have custom scenery, it's not hard to make your environment look very realistic so I hope you'll take the time to do so.

ughh you guys are really killing me. lol. I honestly don't really care much about custom support work on wooden coasters in no limits because the interface for it is terrible and extremely time consuming. If you guys promise to drop a rate, then I will put the extra work in and do my best, otherwise I really am just looking for people to ride it and tell me what they think about the ride and layout, not the support work.

Jcoasters- that sounds great. I guess I can send you the track and you can let me know if it is worth doing so.

^It is always good to spend your time and go for the extra mile. Custom supports is much better.

Almost all tracks can work with 3ds so it will work. And yeah tell me what you want and where. Plus, It may take me some time because I have a lot of homework lately so be patient.

All you need to do is ask if any one is interested in testing for you and give you feedback on what could make the ride flow smoother.

I don't know a whole lot about wood coasters and the shaping that sets apart the various designers yet. Just ask, someone is bound to help you out.
