It does look way too big, but I think it would help it look more realistic if you used the double tower support style like Huracan.

Your scene overall looks gorgeous.

LeFlo, how do you get that dry sandy area underneath where your coaster is?

Jakizle => I won't make the double tower, it wouldn't make it realistic. The double tower is only on 6-seater trained eurofighters, mine is an 8-seater.

Jcoasters : That's quite hard to explain...

Well, I used Paint.NET to do it, but I think you can do it with Photoshop.
- You have to make a screenshot of your coaster from the top in the NL editor.
- Open that screenshot, your grass texture and a sand (or even dirt) texture in Photoshop.
- Place the screenshot over the grass texture and lower the screenshot transparency to about 30% so you can still see the layout. Save a picture when done.
- Place that new picture over the sand/dirt texture, and use the eraser to erase the layout : as the sand/dirt texture is beneath the layout picture, it appears when the layout part of the picture is erased.

;) (Thanks to BirdNerd from NL-E as he first explained this to me).

Update !

I added some things like the sensors on the tracks, a testing-seat and a regulations sign at the start of the queue, two "Hard Hat Area" sign around the coaster. I made the cartexture, and therefore I changed the tracks colours so it fits the theme and the cartexture (I may have forgotton to say it but Vult is a deformation of Volt [:D]).

Here are a few pics ;)

I agree with Jakizle, that was the only thing I noticed about this ride; that tower doesn't look right with the track connecting arms being so long.

That's quite an ironic statement. The double tower would make your design more realistic, not less. They used the double tower for the 6-seater euro-fighter because it needed it, not because it will be a trademark for that type of euro-fighter.

^ Do you think I should make a double tower if I make the lift even larger ?

What's better? :
- Making a smaller lift tower and keep the simple tower?
or
- Making a larger lift tower and make the double tower?

I need your opinion ! [:D]

It depends. The new euro-fighters kind of have a different shaping then the 8 person trains. Yours seems to be more new, so make it double tower and a holding break.

Personally I think his shaping resembles saw's so I think it would be nice if he kept the rest of the ride as is and made the first hill look like this:

Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

His hill crest isn't as tight as saw's, and the 97 degree drop pulls out farther up on his.

^ Slos was talking about the general layout shaping, not of the lift hill.

Well, I took a look at Huracan's double lift tower. It seems quite hard to reproduce, as it uses both metal beams and metal tubes. Plus I'm planning to release this on Monday. So I'm going to try to make the double tower, but if I can't success before Monday evening, I will keep the simple tower and make the crest smaller.

Thank you for advices.

This looks awesome. I really like how tight the coaster is in the area.
I don't want to get involved in the crest because it looks fine regardless.
The only thing I am not a fan of is the black. I think you should try a different theme, if you have time. I thought the blue and red color scheme was very unique.

I've just finished making the double tower. It took me all my evening but well, here's what I've done.

HKC : I'd like to finish this before the CC 2011 NL Tournament starts. That's why I'll try to release it before Monday night, so re-themeing would take me a few days and I don't want it. Btw the red and blue color scheme is unique unless you consider the many Superman rides around the world. ;)

The double tower looks pretty nice, actually. I'm not a fan of the colors, though. They seem very dark and gloomy for a ride of this type.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Wow man, very nice. And I agree with Flickstah, maybe use a more lively color scheme? But the current colors are still nice.

I think it looks really good, and the double tower definitely helps the realism. Looks a bit better proportioned. Can't wait to ride it, because it looks fantastic. As mentioned before, how did you manage to get the dry mud area under the coaster?

Flickstah : I'd agree it lacks colours, especially yellow IMO. I tried with yellow tracks and black supports, then black tracks and yellow supports, nothing looked good, except the yellow tracks and black supports one on which I hesitate a lot. I'd like to show it to you, take a look :

Does it look better ? :)

Edit @ Boneplaya: You'll surely have to edit your texture because it won't fit the track layout.

I like the yellow much more. It adds more to the ride.
"Superman" Hahahaha

But the yellow is nice. It reminds me of "Desert Racer" (I think it's called). Excellent work on the tower as well. This coaster looks all set. Congratulations!

Desert Race is utter crap, but I`m not sure about the color scheme although it fits to the name, maybe make the yellow less bright.
