2011 CoasterCrazy NoLimits Tournament Round 1 - Angel's Plummet
Lake Valley Park is a small park that wants to put itself on the map. The park has already contracted Gerstlauer to supply the track and trains, but they want you to design the actual coaster. The park already has some gentle rides, and they want to new coaster to be a thrilling piece of work with a sensational ride experience.
Rules
All rules will be checked in the metric system. Imperial values are estimates. Please use a big enough margin to prevent unnecessary disqualification.
-Must use Eurofigher track and train type.
-Track and supports cannot go outside the red and blue lines.
-Total length between 600 and 700 meters (1970 ft - 2295 ft)
-Minimum top speed 80 kph (50 mph.) This means the train must be travelling at that speed or higher at least once during the ride.
-The park has limited electricity. Therefore, all station, lift, transport and brake segments must be inside the red area.
-No launches allowed, max lift speed is 15 kph (9.3 mph).
-Must feature at least 4 inversions (banking of at least 155 degrees).
-Minor terraforming is allowed. You can edit the terrain a bit to accommodate tunnels or trenches, but no major alterations to the terrain. Also, all terraforming must be done inside the template.
-3ds are allowed, but can only be placed entirely inside the template.
-Trees inside the template can be moved or deleted. New trees may also be placed inside the template.

Scoring
Your design will be evaluated on 3 categories:
Technical: Smoothness of the ride, strength and integrity of supports, safety.
Adrenaline: Speed, pacing, excitement, G-forces
Originality/Realism: Are your elements/layout original while still being realistic?
Sending in tracks
When you have finished your ride, you send it to contests@coastercrazy.com .
The deadline for round 1 is Sunday January 23th 11:59 PM, CoasterCrazy Time.
When all tracks are in, Oscar will remove all the track and membernames, so the judges will not be able to see which track belongs to who.
In order to maintain this system, you may not post anything that would connect you to a ride. Also, when using the track packager, make sure your name is not mentioned anywhere.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them.
Good luck and have fun.
UPDATE
-Colors can be changed
-Eurofigher 2 can also be used
-The deadline of Jan16th was incorrect. The 23rd is the correct deadline.
-Max transport speed on lifts/transports/stations/brakes is 15 kph 9.3 mph.
-There is no height restriction
-There is no minimum/maximum amount of train. But capacity does matter.
-Leave the template as it is. Do not change it.
-The lines in the red area have no porpuse other than to indicate the red area.
-Breaking the rules will disqualify your entry. I would suggest following the rules.
