Well I have finished the walkways with catwalks and it's not too bad. Here are some new pictures!

So yeah, I think it looks a lot better than I thought it would now that I have what I do have done. I have to work on the roof now, something to go under the track, over the walkways where the people would be walking under, and then the colors. Any ideas with colors for the station?

EDIT AGAIN: Yeah, I've have been spending A LOT of time on this. This is where I'm at now, and I'm ready for bad seeing it's almost 4 in the morning. It's not the best station ever, but it's only my second one. Still up for some station color ideas too.

I can tell you right now that realistically, that station would probably fail structurally. add some more support too it to hold it up. other then that, yeah i agree supports would look better, but the time it would take just isn't worth it at all. as long as all the lines on the catwalks are facing the same way it will be just fine.

Yeah, all the lines for the catwalks are going the same way. And I'm still working on the overall shape of the station too. It still has some work to be done, just posting "in progress" pictures, haha.

That is a pretty imaginative station building, I like it a lot.

The structure could be sound, if the supports fro it were formed steel rather than wooden beams, assuming there was nothing in the roof other than structure.

But yah, like I said, it looks cool!

I see dumb people jumping from the ramp to climb up on the track...
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Gouldy: I'm working on an alternate station(still have the original) that keeps the same basic design, just a bit more simple and to me looks more sturdy. I'll post pictures in a second.

EDIT: Well I like the way the that station looked too, so I'm working on it again. What if I made the top section a little shorter, so it's not sticking up as high. That would make the structure more stable wouldn't it? Like this:

Or my new version:

I definitely like the older one, haha.

Slosprint: I'm going to put barrier type deals around the track section. As well as net type things where the track goes over the ramp. Anyone have any idea going about that?

Perhaps put netting over the queue, such as the netting you see on tracks going over pathways, or barriers, such as seen on the line for wicked twister.

^ I know that much. That's that kind of thing I got the idea from. I'm just saying with what I have to work with support wise it's kind of tricky. Nothing is thin enough.

You could always ask someone to 3ds a few nets for you. They don't take that long, plus i'm sure a few people would love to test this ride for you.

The drop is so ugly I almost can't breath while looking at it. Hopefully riding it changes my mind...

^ Yeah, I hope so too. It's a different style drop, so hopefully people like it. I think it's more the angle that picture is taken more than anything. That and there was a template I built this ride in and that was like the only way to make it fit. If it's not liked, oh well. No biggie, I'll just start a new ride, haha.

Well I do like the rest of layout and the station is looking interesting. I never fully judge rides 'til I get on them and you don't tend to let me down too often so I'm still excited.

I know that this is a very old topic, and that people probably don't care too much about it anymore. I haven't been on the site in months but I miss it and would really like to finish this ride now that I have free time. Also have another ride or two to finish as well. Not sure, have to look through all my stuff. So yeah, I think I'll try to have this up in the next few weeks or so. Hope everyone is doing well, it's been forever!

I must say that I love the colors you picked and the station area looks very nice considering you used catwalks. Can't wait for you to finish this and upload it!

Yeah, the station isn't anything too great. The catwalks can look kind of awkward in spots, but I try to have them at least all going the same way. But I'm glad I at least got one response, it'll keep me going on it, hopefully, haha. My motivation for anything anymore sucks, lol.

Make an environment for your coaster where catwalks are a different texture that works better for buildings.

I would, but I don't know how to make environments, lol.

I'd go with the angled support station instead of the second one. Looks more natural with the type of track. And people who up/down rate a ride because of any custom station, should be shot...by a nerf gun.

I'm totally diggin' the ride. So out of curiosity, does your drop bank right and then back left as it plummets? I did that for a B&M hyper last year and the drop turned out great.

Oh don't worry. The station wont all be one color. I will hand select certain pieces to be certain colors, lol.

And Opposite, but yes! It goes to the left and then right! I think it came out alright, lol. And I'll have to check out your ride.
