I was riding on the mower and suddenly got almost ejector airtime while I was mowing the grass. I got shoved forward and almost came out of my seat.

It would have been quite a few had you been ejected forward and then gotten ran over with it. That's dangerous...

Most riding mowers have kill switches built into the seat, so if you fall off the motor will die. Which is a pain in the butt if you are standing, or leaning forward trying to make sure you are not running over something.

Cool5 - Again...YOU CANNOT GET EJECTOR AIRTIME ON SOMETHING THAT ISN'T AN AMUSEMENT TYPE RIDE (One of the exceptions would be being on an airplane that starts to descend faster than gravity pulls it). You can get Ejected from something if it bounces you off, but THAT is NOT "Ejector Airtime".

That would qualify as "Bounced out of seat" airtime correct?

Edit: Or "That was one hell of a tree root" airtime.

I can even drift and spin the back tires in the grass on this mower.

I'm suprised dcs hasn't come into this topic telling you how the ejector air you produced was too intense for the specific riding lawn mower company. You should really change the shaping to better emulate this mower style.

It sounds like you have a huge yard. What about purchasing something that has more speed? Those mowers go like maximum 10mph?

I'd say get a quad, those are awesome, and from what I heard on your backyard it really should provide some cool airtime moments. Still nowhere near ejector air tho. Since as long the car is loose from the ground. It'll always be floater or zero G maximum...

KoasterKid(wow, was going to shorten your name until I noticed what it spelled out,) you haven't been here long enough to understand the reference I made. You'll learn.

And cool, that actually sounds like a lot of fun. lol
Too bad I've only got a push mower.

We used to have a road like that. But they put a stop sign at the top. There's no intersection, unless you count the cross-walk nobody uses, just a stop sign.

But as everyone else said, incorrrect. That would be a sudden increase in gs pushing you away from the ground for a split second and with nothing to restrain yourself, or the mower, to the ground, you floated for the split second.

Should I put ammonium perchlorate in the gas tank to supercharge the mower?

Yes, as long as it is enough to guarantee a lethal explosion.

Fuel type doesn't have any effect on power output unless the motor is tuned for it.

That's not true, is it?

For example a Diesel car will run on filtered chip fat without any tuning at all, and will have reduced power by around 10%.

There are differences between regular unleaded petrol and Super Unleaded petrol, as well.

Bio-fuel engines also run very differently depending on what type of fuel you use, without any alterations to the engine itself. (Think primarily about the Koenigsegg (spelling? lol) CCXR)
