The hill in the third picture looks like it it lopsided towards the right. Also, I wouldn't recommend basing your shaping off of Maverick, as that's most definitely not a megacoaster. I suppose it's a good place to start, but to use it as the complete basis for your shaping, I advise against it. Layout looks like it should be pretty cool, though.

Thanks, do you have any pictures for m shaping? I tried looking on rcdb but there were no pics of any hills at the angle in which I could shape off of.
J, just a mega coaster, kind of custom.

what do you guys think of this hill?

EDIT:So I have been working on the hill, and i made the top a little more flatter. I have also added the turn, and increased the radius of the top of the lift.

i think this is good for the hill. you guys tell me what you think of it...
i made the exit a little more similar to the entrance and lowered the steepness of the entrance to improve the shaping. I also did the pic of my coaster in the editor because i felt looking at the actual coaster and then newton was lowering the comparison.

The shaping looks real good compared to an actual coaster. If the rest of the track turns out good and you have good supports this could be really good. Can't wait to see some more updates!

In my last pic leflo pointed out that the "It looks like the leading in and out of your hill are too early", so i have edited the hill(yet again) so this is what the hill should look like(may be changed later)

so i have been slowly moving toward the over bank, although i cant seem to get the jest of it. the exit is the problem, i cant seem to make a good smooth exit. i wont post any pictures yet because i think the obc is not to good, but i will fix it...if i could just get the the main concept of an obc then i could shape it. so does anyone have good any good tips on making a obc?

another update already? ive replaced the overbank with a flat turn because shaping was killer...ive also added the 3rd hill, but it is definitely not the final, and is the first of many...

Im not a big fan of the flat turn. Unless you are doing a more old school Inta hyper, don't add flat turns.

Or, RWN, do the kind of Intamin Hyper you want, and add what you want, as long as it rides well and fluently and there won't be a reason to be docked points.

Unless of course, Jcoasters rates your roller coaster. Then you'll be screwed for validity.

Im just trying to tell him, It seems more mega lite. And I'm just stating what I think looks good. That does not mean I'm going to rate it down because I don.t like the element when other people do.

New Intamins have flat curves too. He really should do some research before putting in thoughts that might influence someone else. It's not fair to the person presenting their ride here. With that said, I guess part of being a good designer is knowing whose opinions to take seriously and really consider...

Look at I305 and Goliath, plus rides like with the RITA style layout. They're not that old, but they all have flat turns like yours. It's 100% within their current style to have a flat turn. If you like it, please keep it.

Then don't use false reasoning to tell someone not to do something that's been done. Not fair to him, because he seems to want to learn, and that's steering him in the wrong direction.

6I know he wants to learn. I have been telling him tips on AIM this whole time. It's just because of my statement in the TG thread that you are saying that.
