Why are the ratings not done yet? Wow, the judges are lax this year.

We have not received the $5 entry fee from all participants so that is why the judges are not done. [;)] [;)]

Aside from riding the tracks, I haven't really had a chance to start yet. I've been busy with applying to grad school. I should be able to officially start tomorrow once my first exam of the semester is over, but I'm not really going to be able to get into the meat of them until after Thursday, when I'm scheduled to take the GRE. So my third of the ratings probably aren't going to be done until sometime next week.

If each person is doing a third, how will the ratings stay consistent?

^Everyone's rating everything. I'm just saying that by the end, I'll have done 1/3 of the total amount of ratings that are done.

Don't worry about it man, I didn't have half as many tracks to rate last year and it took me the best part of a fortnight.

LOLZ YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE GRE!

Reminder: The "best" grad student where I'm going only got a 1050, and one of the worst got a 1400. That test is such a scam.

Yeah, I would definitely qualify as one of those students with high test scores but crappy actual classroom results. I got a 1420 on my SAT, including a perfect score in math, and yet I almost failed out of college... twice.

Because I do have time, it's just that the round ended at a bad time for me. This is a one-time thing, which will be over this Thursday, and then I'm back to a normal schedule.

Besides, it hasn't even been a week yet. Chill out. It's not like the other two judges are done either. By the time the ratings are done, it will only have been about 2 weeks.

1420? Unless you took it back when there were only 2 sections, this would imply a score of 800 on math, and an average of 310 on writing and critical reading.

There wasn't a writing section when I took it back in 2003. It was an 800 in math and a 620 in verbal.

BTW, since this topic has been bumped, I'd like to report that I got about 10% of the ratings done in a quick kickoff session yesterday. Tomorrow is my big rating day, though. I've got from 1pm Monday to 2pm Tuesday completely clear. If I really apply myself, I might get them done by Tuesday night. If not by then, it'll be Friday or Saturday. (Wed/Thurs are basically booked with work)

Anyway, consider yourselves updated.

I have 3 tracks to rate. If school can give me a break they should be done quicky. If not, well, then it might take longer [lol].

Damn it! I saw a post from hyyyper and thought the results were up. I was mistaken, and very disappointed.

I'm chugging along as well. I absolutely 100% promise they will be done BY SATURDAY this week. School has been...unkind to me.

If the results were up, the title of the topic would have changed to something like: "2011 NLT - Round 1 - RESULTS pg 12"

PROGRESS UPDATE:

Well, here's the traditional way that I update everyone on how my ratings are coming. Tomorrow is my big rating day, where I plan to get most if not all of them done, but I made some decent progress this week despite my extremely-busy schedule. I'll be updating this list all day tomorrow. I'm hoping I can get them all done by nightfall, but if not then, Sunday for sure. Anyway, here's my list so far:

RATINGS:

Coaster A
Coaster B
Coaster C
Coaster D

Coaster E
Coaster F
Coaster G
Coaster H
Coaster I
Coaster J
Coaster K
Coaster L
Coaster M
Coaster N
Coaster O
Coaster P
Coaster Q
Coaster R
Coaster S

White = Rating Not Finished
Orange = Rating In Progress
Red = Rating Completed
