There are over 8,000 11,000 NoLimits tracks on the exchange now! 3 years and over 3,000 uploads later, it's time to give these awards another go. This time around will be a little different, and I'll make the reading a little less hefty.


Nominating:
What designs do you think are the best of its type on our exchange?

This time you may nominate as much as you want! Nominate, nominate, nominate! There are No Limits! Nominate a roller coaster for each category you want, and then beyond that! As much participation as possible is encouraged, so don't be afraid to scourge your memory and the exchange for tracks worthy of this competition. A lot of uploads have come to CoasterCrazy since '08, and a lot of them have been damn impressive.

When you nominate, say the category it's eligible for, the track name, and the name of the designer. If you could provide a track page link, that would be awesome. If not, that's okay too.

Nominating your own ride is acceptable.




The following will be categorized as the same type to simplify nominating:
Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter 1 & 2 (Euro-Fighter)
Schwarzkopf Modern & Classic Steel Looping (Sch. Steel Looping)
Morgan Wooden, 4-Seat Wooden & 6-Seat Wooden (Wooden with 4 or 6 Seats)
Vekoma Mine Train with or without Locomotive front (Mine Train)

Millennium Flyer Wooden and the separate Spinners will all have their own category this year.

With these new types above, any track type is eligible, given that it satisfies the title (Racing Coaster must race, Shuttle Coaster must be a shuttle, etc). If a roller coaster is nominated for one of those categories, you can enter it into the other category that it is eligible for by request. This is why it is important to identify the category upon nomination.





Voting:
Assuming that every category gets at least 2 nominations, there will be 26 different ballots when nominating is over. If a category does not meet the nomination minimum (2), it will not be included in voting. So again, don't hold back on nominating!

Nominations will end and voting ballots will begin to be organized on March 19th (03/19/2011 - one month from today), or as soon as five entire days go by without a nomination. So keep this going and give us your participation, and remember to nominate as many times as you want! You don't have to state all your nominations at once. There's a whole month for you to do it for a reason.

A few days will be needed after nominations end to organize ballots. Once they are organized, voting ballots (for all members) will be seen in the forum; like last time, not all at once. They'll be opened consequently and, also like last time, sometimes may be grouped to save space and time.

I'll be less concrete and strict about time frames for each ballot this time. There will be no predetermined time frame for a ballot to run. If it begins to run inactive, I'll put up a 3 day notice before I end it to remind anyone that still wishes to vote that they should get it done soon.

I will place my own nominations as well, but later on. I will mention them.

I think Concept is a cool category to run, thanks for bringing that up. If you don't mind I think I'd rather wait for some more support on the Jet Coaster category.

Yeah, lol. Sorry. Should I sub-categorize the Intamin roller coaster category? There are a lot of different things that people make from Intamin Hyper Trains. One thing I want to make sure I utilize in this competition is absolute voter power; to take their suggestions, and have as many possibilities.

Aka this is the America of competitions.
