I'm not convinced Newton is the best tool to use for this track.

theres a simplier way to make helixs, if you use the constant slope feature...COS[SloLc]/COS[B]

The thing with Eagle is, the forces are very constant, especially in the helix. Most of the airtime is close to zero, except for the two ejector spots.

The last sentence doesn't have anything to do with the building technique. You can achieve airtime or a lack thereof with any style. I highly doubt they used any kind of force based design for the real ride, so I think attempting to do so would complicate things and likely cause inaccuracies.

Whatever happened to handbuilding/Elementary for older wooden recreations? There are plenty of ways to get accurate forces with those, and it'd probably be an easier process anyways.

I think they used some kind of force based design, otherwise the forces wouldn't be so "perfect".....

They're perfect because it's so trimmed that it doesn't do anything.

I think you should scrap the track and start over. But make sure you hand build it the second time

I say handbuild. Never been on it, but it just looks like something you should handbuild.

Ah, so there's your problem, you've only been on it when it's trimmed :]]]]]]

Since I went on it when I was 5 years old originally (we were a tall set of twins) and I am 23 currently, I can safely say I've most likely been riding it before you were born.

I'm definatley not scrapping it.... I got the measurements perfect. I'll probably just take it apart and turn it into hand-built shaping.

Do you know about the brake tires before the lift?
