Hello, people of CoasterCrazy. I am here with 2 options I have and a few questions to go along with it. Any and all advise will be helpful and taken into consideration.

OPTION 1:
I have been introduced to AutoCAD 2010 recently known for building high society models. I enjoy using the program but I dont know if it works as a program for an object creator.

OPTION 2:
I tried downloading google sketchup on my old system with no luck. I have gotten the new one for free and I think it is easy to understand, even for beginners. IT would be a quick and easy way to create objects with it, but I dont know how to export it.

(Feel free to say whatever you like)

If you can export your AutoCAD program to a 3DS file (which I'm sure you can), then you will be fine.

And for sketchup you need the pro version.

Spoiler:
Just find a Crack for it
.

And then you can export it as 3ds and then trow it to anim8tor and edit the textures and import it to nolimits tada....

But what isn't mentioned is that the pro version is almost $500...

I think I've found a back door, if you have both AutoCAD and the trial of Sketch-Up.

Go back to previous versions of Sketch-Up and find a way to download 6 or lower (I think the current version is 8) If you have version 6 or lower, you can import the model directly into AutoCAD (though the CAD menus), *then* export it from CAD to 3ds.

The one issue that I run into with this is that textures are somehow not transferred through the export. (And this is a current problem, so I wouldn't mind feedback as well...)

There's also a 3ds Max AutoCAD that would probably work in one step (which, if you're downloading CAD through the student offer, should also be free) but it's incredibly complex and is a nightmare to jump in to without experience.
