Same here. Had an XP computer and bought a W7 laptop a few months ago.
^For what possible reason would you want a mac?

If you're not retarded about how you use the internet viruses should not be a problem.
Who is to say he wasn't boot camping that and running Windows on it. Microsoft doesn't make the computer, just the OS. And if you want to go like that, how come just about everyone with a Mac uses Microsoft Office?
And I agree with the overpriced sentiment. When I was laptop shopping, aka spending hours making my own on the internet, I found that I could get a Dell XPS(which I ended up buying) with the same hardware as a Macbook Pro for about $800 cheaper. Just about every spec was the same between them, but Apple still charged so much more. I'll admit that the Pro and Air are really sexy looking though. Gotta give them that. But come on, no HDMI port?

Windows 7. Went straight from XP to 7, no messing around with Vista.
I've got windows (Vista). I really want a mac though but you know, there way to much.

I've always had windows. Ive had 98, millennium, xp, vista, and 7. It's just so much easier to customize to what i want and be able to afford it.
Viruses love it too.
I have a Macbook Air and a PC...
Both of them work very well, and I enjoy using both.
I do not prefer either one over the other, and both of them are good at what I use them for.
