xbox live help

ok so my dad got xbox live gamertag for me via internet and now we are having trouble getting it connected to xbox live what do i do?

We're gonna need more information than that to help you. Are you using a wireless connection or wired? Also there is a connection checklist that you can access that diagnosis the connection and tells you where the problem is.

Do you have a hard drive or just memory cards? Also, you'll need an Ethernet cable to connect to your modem.

It'd help if you told me what you have done so far.

two i have a hard drive

all we did was make the account on the internet and which gave a silly gamertag so we are trying to get the gamertag on the xbox 360 connected we already have xbox live.

i think im going to contact Microsoft tomorrow

"Recover Gamertag" or whatever its called. Fallow the instructions there and you should have the gamertag on your 360.
