Lagoon's NEW 2012 Coaster!!

Lagoon Utah is getting a new coaster for 2012! The supports are blue! and it looks like they are getting ready quickly and secretly! It looks like they might get done mid-season 2011! I was dissapointed at first that we weren't getting a 2010 ride, but instead we are getting a 3 point challenge game. It is still dissapointing though because lagoon has had a streak of rides (every year) since 1994! But, it is said to be bigger than wicked, (the current tallest, fastest and wildest coaster at the park,) so I really don't care.

This ride opened to the public April 2nd of this year, wow, they move fast! It is called Bombora and while it is a small family coaster, it looks like fun. I cannot find anything indicating who built it, but, the layout kind of screams L&T to me.Actually it does kind of look like either a Gerstlauer or Zierer, however, It seems too compact and the curves look too tight for a zierer coaster. Anyway, here is an offride view I found on Youtube.

That must be a Zierer family like Force One at Schwaben Park and Crossbow at Bowcraft Playland. The tracks look quite same to me, so does the little flat zone before the first drop.

I don't think this was the coaster he was talking about. The original post says the coaster's for 2012, and blue supports. It's also supposed to be bigger than Wicked.

yes, but, if you look at the track pieces in the pics that were posted, they look exactly the same as the ones in the new coaster, hhmm, I see blue track poking out from the plastic covering. Coincidence, I think not.

Then how come the track poking out is a tri-rail, hmm?

Screams Intamin to me. A Gerstlauer coaster is also possible, but I doubt its a Gerstlauer when they already have Wicked, which is very Gerstlauer sorta.

I don't see a tri-rail I see a tire drive lift section. Also, Wicked was made by Zierer

I only see dual rail and I know Wicked was Made by Zierer. I was just saying that them getting a Gerstlauer would be stupid since they already have Wicked, which is so much like a Euro-fighter.

Those were obviously pictures for the 2011 coaster that just opened. I just think that the original poster was completely talking about a different project for 2012.

How does it suck. They have Wicked, a classic woodie, a classic Schwarzkopf looper, and a bunch of other awesome stuff!

Yeah Wicked basically makes this park.

It looks pretty awesome, especially since it has lap bars. And you could say it's an actually good Zamperla coaster.
