I think we just had an earthquake, it lasted like 5 seconds and it was strong enough to scare my fish and birds! Anyone else besides me in the Southern California region feel it? [:p]
^Not quite sure what that is supposed to mean, the magnitude of a quake is not really relative to the exact fault of the epicenter. The only close relation is how active the fault is. Seismologists have determined that the less active a fault is, the more likely it is to produce a strong(6.5+) quake.
I am on the fault line of a 9.5 earthquake, so I hope that whatever caused that earthquake does not come walking over here.
