be warned theres alot of pictures here so if you have a slow computer you may want to leave for a while and come back and view.
so the day begins about 11:30AM on sunday. not the day im visiting the pleasure beach but me and my family (yes theres photos of them too) to find a hotel and just have a nice day around blackpool itself.
here come the 152 photos, i had 1237 photos but i thought that may be a few to many.
the first photo as i get out the car is of the roller coaster psinted in its new bright orange, its such a nice colour.

yeah look old roller coaster cars, these are due for reconditioning to go into a museum built on the coach park behind valhalla

straight past the ticket office for today
so after finding a hotel and spending a little time at the tower circus with my sister then about 4 hours in a bar rather than just going back to the hotel with the rest of my family i decided to go check out south pier since it was such a beautiful evening

the artwork on this ghost train was awsome
see awsome so i assumed it would be a pretty good one so i went on
I WAS WRONG, it sucked ass untill the 2nd level
not expecting a live actor to pop out from behind a corner, if it wasent for this one lone actor it would of really sucked
a machine of total and complete awsomeness. you control it too, the whole operation of the ride from the seat your in. the most awsome little ride i have been on for a good while. did this 2 times it was so much fun
hello huss gorgeousness. 4 times on this because of its complete awsomeness and a very intence ride cycle that lasted a good 10 mins
no small park would be complete withought one

same here, everyone loves kiddie killers
sizzler, again another stock ride but a wonderful light package
the waltzers had the best light package on the pier, all the rides were owned by one company but run by an indervidual. they all get a yearly budget and compete for 7 awards to earn extra cash for the next year. lighting was one of them
everyone loves a long flume, yeah its 10pm so im not going on it
lifting up the cars the op said they was upgradeing the light package to a new LED custom system so no lights on the cars this year
the ride was wild and the op really seemed to want to thrill riders not just make cash like alot of rideops in the buisness do.
so its time to get some beer and sleep, its mearly 11pm so up early for a full english breakfest and to get to the pleasure beach with the expectation of very large crowds because its the may bank holiday monday.
yet another loverly day, had my full english brekkie and now onto the main event, blackpool pleasure beach
one of the best ticket point i know of, its surprisingly quiet

look there are new sponge bob tickets
those magificent men in there flying machines
see there is pretty much no one in the park today, it was this quiet all day
first look at nick land
roller coaster has a new name and a snazzy new station to go with its new orange colour screen
and a makeover for the old big dipper trains
we got greeted by sponge bob squarepants
and patric star
beaver creek log flume gets a makeover with lots of new scenery
as on the sign "hold on to your nappies babys" im shure thats now what the rugrats actually said though
i got sunburnt, its actually a picture of me
the crusty crab was a little bounce ride with lots of detail. BTW a crabby patty on there cost $12
the spongebob splash battle look fantastic, not in operation today as they were filling it with water and testing it but it looks like a hell of alot of fun, and again very very detailed
the detail is very very high and the whole new area is finnished to a very high standered. looks very very cool
very very bright colours everywhere
they finnished the bikini bottom bus tours ride while we were there with the new sign

the little dipper is now the blue flyer and is painted bright blue, it all looks very awsome and very bright
more new rides for the new land
dora the explora teaching kiddys mexican or somthin like that
not new but a full retheme to the backyardigans adventure (yeah ive never heard of them either)
bling is still there, i had herd it was leaving at the begining of this season but no, its still there looking pretty but boring riders
PLEASE make it more extreme

BPB has been busy painting this closed season, theres alot of little touches made

1 train operation and running "william" today, and it was still walk on
pretty new paint
pretty window view and you can see how close infusion gets the the buiding

the new station is very pretty
its now about 2 in the afternoon and its still very very quiet, so wierd for a bankholiday
despite rideing 9 times i only got this photo of the wild mouse.
disney world of colour, we have better

my farther and sister love the little grand prix cars
yes we went to see the glow in the dark show, its worth a watch
more big one going in a straight line
corners the coaster ran very well today, again walk on with only 1 train running
a big lift hill, blackpool needs something new and very large

new pizza restraunt under the old space mountain 2, this is due to be another ride for nick land next year
another shot of avatar, you get some good views from it and was one of the more impressive zamprella rides
deagio or somthing like that? not a clue about this show?

blackpools live horror maze has had a complete makeover inside, i didnt go in as we didnt have time
i got one of these posters for being the first person to buy somthing in the nick store that day[:D]
even the trams have advertising for the pleasure beach
i carnt wait to go back later this year when all the merlin things are open over by the tower, the dungeons, madem tussauds and when the new nick land has bedded in a little.
