Think it's something to do with Wolverhampton, a football team in the UK.
I personally don't follow football an thought it was some racist song but i think its do with the granite landscape up north?
not quite.
The Black Country is an area of the West Midlands, so called because of it's prominance in the industrial revolution. The industrial revolution began in Telford (a town near the West Midlands conurbation) and then took hold in the industrial powerhouse that was the West Midlands, before spreading around the world. The area was full of factories, with chimnies pumping out black smoke/pollution and so it became known as "The Black Country".
Most of that industry has gone now of course, leaving one city (Wolverhampton), three towns (West Bromwich, Dudley and Walsall) and suburbs of each. The main two Black Country football teams are Wolves (my team) and West Brom (The poop) (Gazag's team). They're 11 miles apart and it has been recently voted the fiercest football rivalry in England... to win against the other team is somewhat important to us
Anyway, life story over (as if you cared lol, I just like talking)
and finally; just for you Gaz, my inital sentiment in audio form:
