There's a reason why it could very easily be mine that DQ'd, and it's quite a silly thing and easy to have changed... can't say what it is though, seeing as the ratings aren't in yet.

FYI, I'm finally officially starting my ratings. I have tonight, tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday completely free, so I'll shoot for doing 2 ratings a day on all of these days. My estimated completion date is therefore next Tuesday. I might be able to get them done earlier, but I know that I tend to underestimate my timeliness, so I'm trying to give myself a reasonable goal this time.

^Yeah. I don't mean to be rude but If you don't have the time, then don't choose to be a judge! But hopefully now that school is coming to an end it will be easier.

Just a quick update...

I've got 5 ratings done, and am presently in the process of judging the final group. However, I'm going to need to go to bed soon so that I can get some sleep before my 8:30 class, so I probably won't have the time to finish tonight. At this point I am far enough along to set an absolute deadline, though. And that deadline is 12 hours from now, tomorrow afternoon at 2:00. Then it's just a matter of hyyyper posting the scores and Oscar posting the coaster names.

Since everyone else is done, that likely means results and ratings will be up within the next 2 days.

I am quite amazed here how a 3 week build period (it has been that long ago I am unsure the specifics,) has turned into 6 further weeks of judging?

I do understand how real life does have more importance at times but really? 6 weeks?

I haven't been part of this tournament but feel for the lads that had to push there schedules to submit a track. I think it would be fair to them that if you wanted to judge that time was made to rate. If the time wasn;t there then why not opt out of judging a round and maybe have a guest judge there for that to enable real life commitments to be priority.

I think that clarity on when judging will end should be as clear as when the submissions should be recieved.

Just my opinions bu think it would make for a more interesting tournement for bouth competitors and on lookers.

Yeah I'm sorry we've been taking an unnecessarily long time.

Try to look at it as a break to focus on other things going on in your life. That's my shitty justification for it and I'm really sorry.

Well, the problem is that I hadn't anticipated what happened with my school work happening. I hadn't predicted that I would get so far behind that I would have to work nonstop for 2 weeks straight to finish all of the papers for my classes and my Senior Seminar project. I expected that I would gradually work on them, and have plenty of free time to do ratings. I was wrong. This round ended right as the end of the semester was approaching, so I have been working pretty much nonstop for the past month with finishing the last of my senior-year class projects and graduating. I finally finished last Wednesday.

So I am sorry for screwing up so badly on the school work that led me to be forced to work nonstop for the last month, but on the other hand once it had happened there was nothing I could do about it. So I'm sorry about that, but I promise it won't happen again. It's now impossible for it to happen again. I'm now officially done with college. So I apologize for how long this took, but it was a one-time thing. I thank everyone for their patience.

By the way, I'll be sending my scores to hyyyper within the hour, so results should be up promptly.

DONE!!!

I'm shipping the scores out, and now it's up to hyyyper to post them and Oscar to post the coaster names.

To be honest, I was really disappointed with this round. There was only one coaster that really struck me as excellent, but due to supporting issues it only got a 7.67. Most of the good coasters had lots of issues with g's and supports, while the bad coasters didn't, so the grouping was extremely tight. Anyway, here are my stats:

Highest Rating: 7.83
Lowest Rating: 6.25
Average Rating: 7.04
DQ's: 1 that wouldn't have mattered because the coaster would have lost the pairing anyway.
Average Margin of Victory: 0.58
Largest Margin of Victory: 0.92

Total Raings: 7
Total Words: 7,274 words
Longest Rating: 1,183 words
Shortest Rating: 519 words
Average Rating: 960 words

Here are my ratings. You'll notice they decrease in length with time. That is because you all made the same mistakes and with exceptions you're all terrible and should never build GCI's. I did not feel like repeating myself. If I mention something like the drop radius being too small (pretty much all of you did this), refer to the top rating for more info since I didn't want to repeat myself.

As far as judging goes this was the most difficult thing I've ever judged because all of the tracks with two exceptions were so love bad across the board and I don't mean that comically. They really were that bad. Consequently, I apologize for the negativity in the ratings and for their length in advance.

But seriously did you guys even look at pictures or anything when you made these? They're all piles of poop except 1.5 of the tracks and I really mean that. You should all be embarrassed with two exceptions.
