2011 CC NL Tournament Finals - Puma Pursuit
Players, welcome to the finale of the 2011 CC NLT. For this last round, it is your job to design a fast-pacing multi-launch coaster. The park will be using the hilly terrain at the back of the park, hoping to create a ride that interacts with the terrain as much as possible.
The park has already contacted Intamin to provide the trains for this ride, but it is up to you to design the track they are going to roll over.
The park has the following demands for the design:
- Track must have 3 lift or launch sections, or a combination of launches and lifts. As long as the total is 3, no more, no less. Station-launches are allowed, and will count as a launch.
- Must use Intamin hyper trains. Trains must consist of 3 or 4 cars.
- The ride must have a top speed greater than 95 kph / 59 mph, but cannot go faster than 120 kph / 74 mph.
- The ride?????????s length must be greater than 1200 m / 3940 ft.
- The ride must have 1 or 2 inversions. Inversions must be placed ?????????south????????? of the red line.
- Nothing can be build below 4 m / 13 ft. when going over paths.(purple areas)
- Station track must by entirely inside the box with the red X.
Because of the difficulty of meeting the E-stop test requirements this round, you only have to make sure the train goes to a lift or launch section, assuming it can be re-launched when the E-stop is over. However, if a train valleys somewhere else or crashes, the E-stop test is failed.
Your track must be sent in to contests@coastercrazy.com at the latest at 11:59 PM on June 26 (CoasterCrazy time).
Just as with previous rounds, it is illegal to link yourself to your track before judging is over. If you do you, you disturb the fragile balance of the un-baised judges that has been around for centuries and passed on by bald aging guys in a snowy temple somewh....
Anyways, if you do such thing, you'll be DQ'd. I shame if it would happen once you've made it into the finals.
If you have any questions or comments about this round or the template, feel free to ask them.
If you have questions that might link you to your track (ie. questions about a very specific element) you can pm Oscar and he will ask me for you.
Well, that was about it, the track should be in the exchange shortly. Have Fun!
EDIT: Ah, you see. There it is already:
