I'm really suffering with a creative block at the moment, I've thrown down two layouts and been very unhappy with both of them! Might go to Alton Towers this afternoon and get the creative juices flowing [lol]

Feel free to do that. The template isn't only for people in the contest.

You can't win and won't get judged though lol.

Damn, I really forgot some things this round. I guess I figured all those little details where too obvious for me to place them in the rules [:D]

It's 15 kph / 9.3 mph

Lift speed is unlimited, as long as it doesn't go over the maximum top speed.

Hey people, a little update for you. LeFlo has decided to quit the tournament. His spot will be filled by gazag, as he had the 5th highest score in the previous round.

2 questions to add:

transport segments, allowed or not?

By first element you mean the 'launchy-lift hill'? Well, to be honest, it doesn't really matter what it is.
See, there are lifts and launches, and some mixes between them (lifty-launches for example). And of all those possible combinations, you simple need 3. You can have 3 lifts, 3 launches or 1 launchy-lift hill and 2 lify launches. It doesn't matter. As long as there are 3 sections that add either potential or kinetic energy to the train. Or a combination of potential and kinetic. You get the point.

As for transport segments. Allowed, read the 6th post above this one.

I's coming along, I haven't really had the time to work on it over the last 2 weeks, so I only really got into it on Saturday, but got my layout down on Saturday/Sunday/Monday and started supports yesterday.

I'm really happy with some parts of my track, but also really unhappy with some other parts [lol]. Can't do a lot about it now, just don't have the time. But I'll definitely be submitting a track, even though there was a point last week where I thought it wasn't going to be possible.

I'm making a track with this template...the layout is so damn hard to work with, especially to get that first launch to work, damn! I kind of deviated so that certain proportions could stay correct, so it wouldn't have made it even I was in the contest lol.

You really made a hard template to work with Hyyper! X|

And that thing of having elements only UNDER the red line was insanity! I guess the point was to have the elements visible to the spectator's walking along the sidewalk right? Or was it just to be extra difficult lol...
"Don't be a disability"... yep, still keeping that. :P

Well, you are not competing in the tournament, so you don't have to follow the rules. You can make a B&M floorless with 20 inversions outside the lines if you must.

But, yes, you can change the colors.

I've been done for like over 2 weeks...I just need to add trees (was already too far along when the tree file was posted).
