Clearly ABC did not do THEIR homework to get more information on each incident. Lift Stops are common and absolutely nothing dangerous. It's usually because of a cell phone or camera. This one just looked like a failed block sensor that got tripped. Probably by a bug. I will be calling ABCNews and complaining lol.
First of all, I'm tired of being accused of being intolerant just because I am a Christian. Not all Christians are "OMG, gays are the devil," you know. And second of all, can we please not turn this into another religious discussion?
Whats with all the Worlds of Fun and Universal Studios stock footage? The Worlds of Fun stuff was shot in 1998-99, how long have they been holding on to those for a rainy day?
The guy was missing two legs, it seems like he was prone to being injured as I assume you need both legs as you knee's are used and sort of a wedge (probably not the right word) that keep you in...
And this is no way attacking a legless man. Just saying.
But the being stranded? That's ridiculous. Get over it.
It was funny when today volcano had a rollback and all the people in the station thought it was the end of the world. Or when on sunday apollos chariot stopped on the lift and was evacuated and everyone was like OMG IM NEVER RIDING THAT ITS UNSAFE IT GOT STUCK lol. (not exaggerating) People are just soo hopelessly stupid these dayz
I tried not to post my full feelings, it's really damn stupid, especially since they pulled ''there is not federal regulation or law'' card and especially the ''is the short thrill worth the risk??'' card... like wowsers.
Roller Coaster's are said to be more safe then your home bath tub. Yea ok a lift stops here and their but this doesn't mean their unsafe. When the man fell from the Superman it was probably because he didn't have any legs so he slipped out.
Very unprofessional for a station like ABC to let something opinionated like that air. You could tell that none of those reporters have any interest in riding.
