For those of you that listen to G-Force radio, you would of heard Tetsu reporting about the layout plans for the new multi launch coaster coming to BGW in 2012 in his 5/5/11 show. For those that don't listen and haven't yet seen them I would like to share them with you.

'Verbolten' will be a multi launched coaster by Zierer. It has been said to include a large 'event building', that will include a freefall drop tower similar to the one that features on Thirteen in Alton Towers. Verbolten which is replacing Big Bad Wolf is an automobile themed coaster that takes on the evil spirit of the black forest.

Anyway here are the layout and themeing images for Verbolten.

hmm... There's no way that Zierer is building this. Intamin is definitely going to have to be the builder of this. It just wouldn't make sense otherwise...
Oh, were you expecting something here?

The five above average coasters they had including one of the best hypers in the world wasn't enough reason to go before?

It has already been confirmed that it is a Zierer. The drop may be similar to Thirteen but doesn't mean it is the same, infact I would hope that the drop platform is pulled off better than Thirteen myself.

I will also add the shaping on the layouts in my eyes is nothing like an Intamin layout at all.

What is the name supposed to mean? Verboten is Forbidden in German... but there's the added L...

IDK.
Looks fun.

Umm... It's not an Intamin. It plainly states that. Also, with the results of many intamin rides, we see why BGE won't go with Intamin.
Just keep scrolling...

I think this looks pretty fun. It's another multi-launch so I'm excited. I've never rode on a Zierer coaster before, but Zierer seems like they know what they are doing. By the way, those are some big hands!

Is it just me, and I've been thinking of this for a long time...Are coaster brands like Zierier,Gerstleur, and MACK completley phasing out Intamin, B&M, Vekoma? Not that there's anything wrong with that I'm just sayin...(yeah Vekoma gets a lot of poop, but their coasters are not half bad)

I'm sure Intamin and B&M are far from being phased out. Both designers offer some of the most unique ride designs and concepts that not many other companies can match.

It is a family ride designed for families by a designer that is very good at making family rides.

The park ordered a family ride.

The one thing that I like so much about Zierer is their 1 row, 2 across seating cars. I feel they give you a better feel for the twists and turns of a coaster, as well as adding more flexibility to the train. I'm excited to see this ride complete! It looks like it has a very interesting story/theme to it. Hopefully they can pull it off better than Intamin did with th13teen lol
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.
