Doing some work on a roller coaster this summer. I have two reliable testers but if someone wants to help me out with this, I'd welcome any form of one-on-one conference from anyone that knows the ropes of GG well. I think getting the shapes and riding style down is pretty upfront- either it rides like a GG or it doesn't. But I want backed opinions of course.

Just a tease ;P

First pic looks weird. But i mean i wouldnt be surprised if gravity group made it within the next few years so it looks good!

the transition it that second picture looks like newton garbage. not to be harsh but if you can back up the shaping of that transition with an actual photo of a GG transition i'd be more inclined not to bitch about it haha.

I'm not using Newton.. It's modeled after Ravine Flyer 2 but with a more lateral transition.

That was the best shot I could find. It's obviously not the exact element. I think it might be the angle I used for the picture, it doesn't run like Newton at all. I'm hand building.

^^ i actually thought that transition was surpisingly realistic.

Thanks, I'm trying hard to pay attention to detail.

I think the first picture's element isn't entirely right. Look up a POV of The Voyage on YouTube and you'll see that the outward banked hills on Gravity Group rides tend to have laterals in them because they actually unbank a bit.

I'm loving everything except for the first picture of you're second post. That just sticks out as terrible.

However having ridden all the GGs in the USA (ok, will add Wooden Warrior on Friday) I can give you an opinion if you want.

Good work for the most part! Keep it up :)

^^I changed it up a bit. I liked that you mentioned the unbanking, so I changed the banking and the transition into the outward banked hill. Thanks.

Thanks Jake.

Thanks to the few testers I've had. Still talking to some of you, but I think unless I come across a major unnoticed error that I don't like, I'm about ready to continue on to the next step.

Thanks now I know not to waste my time downloading this ride since it will be full of unrealistic garbage you'll refuse to change.

I actually changed that element completely. I know how much you like to think people stay the way they were during their high school years forever though, so I won't rain on your parade.

Is it 80 degrees with -1.5G's now instead of like 60 with "only" -1.0?

who cares if it's accurately " gravity group" or not. it's not like anybody here really actually knows what they are talking about when it comes down to it.
it looks like a nice ride and that's what counts. i'll look foreward to it.

Lol thanks Jay. I agree, all one can do is get it close from experience and help, it's not like a manufacturer wouldn't have moderate style changes from time to time anyway. I didn't stray away from the GG essence enough to say that though, I did what I could and took advice from many others to try to nail the precision. In the least, it should be fun. It's pretty long.

When I design a unique roller coaster, I try not to "Base it off" another coaster. I try to work in my own style, though I may steal elements/concepts from other coasters. Everyone should design and shape the way they want to, and it shouldn't matter how close the elements are to the manufacturer, but how it rides. -Sorry for the rant-

I hate disappointing time after time, but I will never finish the supports on this. My cheap laptop just doesn't perform well enough to make it tolerably possible to brace.

I'm going to upload it later today, because I thought it's better to at least upload without bracing rather than let it sink to the depths. Always like to do my part to stimulate the exchange. I will accept all hits on the rating haha... I really do hate to disappoint so much, but stay tuned brothers.
