To add to what you have said LOEA, he was also reported to be upset that he had a closed hearing today and never had his chance to address the world. I hope they keep the trail behind closed doors throughout, I don't feel he has anything useful or productive to say.

What do you mean we don't get all upset when Muslims kill nearly 100 innocent people??? I guarantee you that if I hear of some crazy over in Iraq who blew up downtown and then shot 80-something teens at a summer camp, I'd be love pissed. Maybe the media doesn't care and that's why we don't hear about these sorts of things happening, but to say that the world as a whole doesn't care is, to put it simply, wrong. As an aside, most Muslim countries are constantly at war with each other, so something like this isn't nearly as significant in those places, since on average, hundreds of people die every day whereas in Norway, a single murder is something that is (as far as I know) rarely seen or heard of.

Second, your point about the government contains an inherent logical fallacy. The fact that the government tries to protect us does not necessarily imply that they can. Just thought I'd point that out.

Religion as a whole has killed many people and I can only think of one were it hasn't(Buddisim). This is a testimate to show that religion in general can be dangerous to the human race, even the self proclaimed "peacful" Cristian Bible. Look at the crusades. The situation with Islam is the same thing only backwards.

Aside that there are only around 30 murders per year in Norway,so its one of the most peacefull country of the world. Now see what this has done to the ratio.

Buddhism kinda has too. Not through terrorism but suicide. During the war in Vietnam some Buddhist monks poured petrol over themselves and set them selves alight in protest of the corrupt leader in the south. (I think that was why anyway, haven't studied the Vietnam war for over a year.)

Norway and the countries around it (Sweden, Finland, Denmark), in spite of this inccident are still irrefutably the greatest countries on earth, by every measure. I really hope this doesn't spark any kind of change in the way of life in Norway.

Haz his point was more on the genocide-scale magnitude.

Those monks are a drop in the ocean compared to the Abrahamic faiths which continue to this day persecute people "for God" or whatever based on nothing.
