EdgeWalk Facts

Location height: 356 metres / 1,168 feet

Width: 1.5 metres / 5 feet

Length: 150 metres / 492 feet

Square footage: 225 square metres / 2,422 square feet

Walk duration: 20 - 30 minutes (1.5 hours including briefing)

Total weight of steelwork: 16,330 kg / 36,000 lbs

Design, fabrication and installation: 10 months to complete from final design to completion

Design: 4 months

Fabrication: 3 months

Installation: 2 months

Components: 112 pieces, 5ft x 4ft sections of galvanized steel grated floor, 36 support arms link to two side by side 450 ft rails plus two 50 ft rails leading outside (one used for the group leader and one for each Walk group).

Hours of operation: Daily hours of operation will vary seasonally from May to October.

Number of Walks daily: 2-3 per hour, up to 30 walks daily. This may vary daily depending on weather, sunrise and sunset.

Ticket Price Tickets go on sale beginning June 1, 2011. $175 CAD includes keepsake video, photos, certificate of achievement
and CN Tower readmission Total Tower ticket ($34.99 value includes
Look Out, Glass Floor, Sky Pod Levels, movie and ride).

Operating Conditions: EdgeWalk at the CN Tower will operate seasonally from May to October in all weather except for electrical storms and high winds. Varying weather conditions will make the EdgeWalk experience more unique.

Corporate Team Building Events: An exciting EdgeWalk team building program for corporate events will be available in the near future.

hmm, yes. ive never seen the point in these walks, not really that scary,

take away the saftey and yes get a thrill but meh, its just dosent seem that exciteing to me
