Yep. Its a terrain cci inspired by boulderdash and ledgend a bit. Its got lots of airtime and drops that really make the backseat the best place to ride. Made with newton btw. But its not overly smooth, it works.
Looks awesome, except that helix, which kinda looks like crap. Study some CCI helixes/turnarounds a bit and maybe fix that. Other than that, looks perfect!
Thanks! Yeah all it takes LOTS of linear transitions, timewarp hybrid transitions, and like level 3 smoothing with 4m segments lol. It rides just like a cci. Anyone notice the double up into the brakes?
Im starting on the supporting and i think i want to do this the whole coaster. With the boards across the sides and the ledgers. I just wanted to try it out but it looks really sexy. Should i? it will take weeks, but its soo cool.
It looks really good imo. I was also wondering, where did you get that rail texture?
EDIT: Wait, you made it. Duh:D How did you learn how to make it? As in what size, how to make it look real? etc?
I played around with it in gimp until I got it right. I used the intamin prefab wooden texture from nlexchange to have a basic template. And plugged the textures in. Then i just edited it and added good textures and stuff that i took off of real coasters. It took like an hr but it was worth it cuz people will have that texture to use now and it looks soo good on my ride.
Link me to the texture? I can't find it. I want to mess around with it. Plugged the textures in? And how did you take textures off of real rides? I think you should make a tutorial how to do this;)
Well you need a good angle on a track. But when i tried plugging it in it didnt look good so i took just PARTS of track in pics and stuck it in the best i could. Its really not that difficult.. And the file isnt online anywhere. Id have to upload it.
