Nice man, looks really good, doesn't look like you need any help with the 3D's ;)

But does it ride good?

For the sake of not vomiting everytime I see it, I seriously hope the actual ride isn't these colours.

I'm surprised you're already trying to recreate this ride. It would seem like it would be easier to make after a POV release of the actual ride.

IMO this is more of a "precreation" then a "recreation." Didnt Real do the same thing with TTD? Do one version before the ride was built and revisit it afterwards?

Good luck, heck, you might even be able to sell the simulation video to Thorpe if its close to what the ride might look like.

Are you getting zero gs on the zero g roll. It doesn't look like it. Also, the inclined loop looks so to the side that it doesn't look like an inversion.
Friendship is like peeing. Everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling it brings.

Yup. Thankfully I had McVeen's awesome render to use as a guide. The second one was better not only because I had visual cues but I just got better at NL.

If I ever finish this last version with properly made track, then wed see the full transformation.

Hope this rides well! Looks like itll be quite different to design trackwise.

The problem he had was the common color problem you can fix with anim8tor.

They actually use RAL coded paint! I don't know why I'm surprised by that, it's standard engineering paint. It's just cool to think they use the same paint scale as I do at work.

The supports are going to be RAL7022, I often use RAL7021 at work, which is a slightly darker grey than 7022. Just interesting to me, probably not to anyone else [lol]

I used to work in the RAL code when painting chassis that I made for kit cars, people would be relatively individual with what they wanted.

I can't remember the colour codes but shades of grey were the mainstay of what people wanted. I do remember on baby blue chassis that rolled out and it was very dfferent to the norm.

Back on topic: Looking good hzgarfield, I am looking forward to seeing how close you get this from what information is out there.
