I legitimately made a light blue B&M Hyper named Leviathan about a year ago, I am seriously convinced I have some sort of psychic powers now. [lol]

Anyways, I'm excited... looking forward to 7am. Er, well noon anyways, (when I will most likely wake up. haha)

Seems a bit short.... But otherwise looks really good. I'm glad they didn't just go for the 'mega coaster, but bigger' approach.
It's pretty much B&M's take on Millennium Force ;)

also, inb4 people in NL 'get inspiration' from this.

I'll be honest. I'm REALLY disappointed about the length of this. But it isn't just a short version of their mega coasters; it actually has a different feel to it, even with the similar hills and hammerheads.

Also, can someone explain that long-ass brake run to me?

^I suppose the small lenght/height ratio means that the ride has got quite some speed left when it enters the brakes.

Well, yeah, but if you look at the off-ride footage, it's just an awkwardly long straight section that doesn't seem to serve a purpose.

Leviathan = Behemoth + height

Okay, maybe not exactly that...it does have like ONE speed hill (omg B&M that's like so risky and stuff I'd watch out), but the rest is the same. Then it ends early with a brake run that goes down forever! :(

I was interested when I watched to video, but I realized how at the end they could have put in a sick finale with a little more cash, or at least something better than Behemoth v1.5.

Kinda wish it was Intamin, but this is still a kick-butt B&M. I just feel like they could have done something better, or at least more twisted to SLIGHTLY differentiate it from their existing ride already. And B&M used the 300 feet to make some interesting parts in the beginning, but the ride experience seemed like a normal hyper in terms of ride time...maybe even shorter. It's probably because building a 300-foot B&M costs as much as 700 Bugatti Veyrons.

I was hoping for a jumbo Raging bull, but I, along with many, was stricken with disappointment. It's a great ride by itself, just bad placement. REALLY bad placement.

What the poop is with the end brakes? The coaster looks fully awesome up to that point.

The end brakes really remind of when you were a n00b at RCT and you'd start building an awesome coaster, then get to a point where you'd completely run out of money and maxed the loan, so just had to get back to the station as quickly and as cheaply as possible, placing one more segment every time the money went up just enough because someone new had entered the park and someone somewhere had bought some chips.

I thought I was the only one who spent their RCT money that willy-nilly. [lol]

Such good airtime at 0:38 and 0:58, not to mention the first drop!

Look at what the park has called element #3

wtf.

Since when is the exit of a corner, a barrel roll? [lol]

#2, #4 and #6 are the best parts of the ride, for me.

I lol'd when I saw "barrel roll" too. What dumbass edited that pic? I know it wasn't McVeen. It was someone from CF.

I like it, for what it is. I think one more low, fast hill at the very end would've fit fine and helped the overall ride, but looks like a pretty sweet ride to me. No Intimidator 305, but no Steel Dragon 2000 either. I like that they went with a mix of curves and hills, and weren't afraid to do some low elements to accentuate the speed. A ride with a 300' lift can end up the same as one with a 200' lift after a few hills, so that was smart if you ask me. I don't blame them on the selection either...that park, like KD but worse, really needed another high quality coaster. Of their entire selection, I'd say only the 2 B&Ms are of any kind of decent quality.

GP will eat it up, and capacity will eat them up. Low elements and a relatively short track layout means cost isn't as astronomical as one would expect a 300' B&M to be. Good call overall IMO.

Had I been on plenty of Hypers in the past, I probably wouldn't even consider making a special trip to ride this. But I've never been on a single B&M Hyper, in fact, only two B&M's period. Raptor and Batman The Ride. This may be worth the special trip when it opens next year. I'm thinking about it.

I mean, this coaster looks great, but it REALLY needs to be put elsewhere IMO. Canada's Wonderland could have chosen a much more fitting ride (like a B&M invert, since they don't have any spectacular loopers) and made it totally bonkers with $28 mil.

I can see how this would be a "relocated" ride...it seems like it was designed for another park (Knott's?) and was moved here because they already paid for the design. I could be wrong though...it could just be an odd decision to stick this in.

Also, the ride kinda takes a long brake run slope...I wish they at least had some sort of finale (like Raging Bull x2) to set it apart somehow instead of just heading right back. Behemoth probably has a longer ride time than this, but I can understand since this ride is just so massive (and it's B&M) so it costs a fortune.

Either way, it certainly looks pretty cool and it's a one-of-a-kind in it's own aspect. I still feel like there could have been more, or it just needed to be put somewhere more logical. Since the park already has one hyper-style ride, Leviathan should differentiate itself more (which is why I feel like an Intamin would be perfect in this situation). Oh well, all we know now is that CW = B&M airtime heaven!
