Stop complaning. It's going to be a bad a$$ ride. We were all disapointed about Cheetah hunt, and look what it turned out to be?

Also, I'm kind of excited to see a B&M that has some proper ejector.

I think McVeen does the whole package. But hes also instructed what to do. And when a client pays you handsomely, you give them exactly what they want.

That makes sense. Hmm, I can just imagine how that conversation went down...

"Yeah, and uhh call the end of that turn thingy a barrel roll."

"But that's not really anything special... It's just an exit out of a turn."

"I don't care. Do it anyway."

"...ooook."

While I really think the design is innovative and new for B&M, the ride seems out of place with a park that already has a similar coaster. A Invert or a sit-down looper would have been a better choice for variety, but this still seems like an interesting ride and looking forward to it's implementation. The theming around it looks very Scream-ish however.

I too kind of agree that it's weird that they would put in another ride so similar to another one of their other rides. Of course its another 100 feet taller but that's still two out and back air time machines. Maybe Cedar fair thought the two could live together like Magnum XL and MF at CP, but there's enough differences there for people to distinguish the two apart. Or maybe..... they plan on moving Behemoth at a later date?... I only speculate because it seems to have been happening a lot as of late.

That first drop is going to be insane!

It's taken a while to digest and I was totally taken off guard by this announcement. I'm really excited to see how it pans out, I can't really judge just yet, those animations can be deceiving.

So yeah, all-in-all excited an intrigued.

I love this...so what if Behemoth is similar? The idea of this ride is killer and if it was in any other park we would all love it (aside from the brake run). Just because there is a similar ride at the same park doesn't make it any less awesome. I'll be at CW in a few weeks and I'll sure as hell be going back.

The ride is in no way de-awesome-ed because it's in the same park as Behemoth. It just loses most of its originality factor there. It'll be epic no matter what park it were to go in, but there are plenty of parks that this coaster would have been a better addition to.

There are a few things I'm a little curious about. 1) Why are they using their old style trains and not their new open seating trains like on Behemoth? 2) I thought a barrel roll was a lower flatter version of a zero g roll. 3) Is it just me or do the supports in the video seem a lot darker than in real life?

I'm not ripping on it, really. I think it looks totally awesome. I was just curious.

1) It's just what Cedar Fair asked for. For whatever reason, they wanted those over the new, sometimes rattle-ey, trains.

2) That's correct. That's just what some dumbass called it, or that's what some dumbass told Kieth McVeen to call it.

3) They seem that way, but who knows why that is. I honestly think the video's support color looks better than the color they're actually using.

can't lie... i think this is bad ass. despite the fact that its a bigger version of behemoth basically. Both rides are awesome and a park with 2 different B&M hypers (big bro and little bro) sounds awesome to me. wish a passport wasn't such a hassle.

I know what you mean. It loses the originality a bit, but with the corresponding names, it almost seems like they're dueling coasters (even though they're across the park from each other).

Uhm... that looks friggin' amazing. So beast.
I was literally just today thinking to myself when B&M may do a Giga-type high-ass coaster k300ft.+ and this is way more awesome and majestic and really gonna be badass to look at type of ride that I was imagining.

And what's wrong with that?
Okay other than they're at the same park.. kinda tacky and not the best idea but it's actually okay, this looks cool.

I Wonder Why they use a $hitty brake slope instead of splashdown

There are no rules about it. Certain manufactures, parks, sites and fans all have different opinions about it. But it certainly goes in the same leauge as MF and I305

its almost like nobody cares that b&m has finally done something ground breaking. between this, and the wing riders, its clear that b&m is stepping it up. alot.

^I am sure plenty of people are amazed by the design and I'm the ride will be some spectacular.

But all of this is overshadow by the discussion of Cedar Fair's motivation behind it. I can't think of any other park that build two very expensive and very similar rides in just 4 years time.

This ride is going to turn out amazing. Yes, they already have Behemoth, but this ride also has some different elements never before seen on a B&M Hyper. For example, the low to the ground air hills. I mean, why is everybody complaining? Be happy that Canada's Wonderland is getting a beast of a ride and B&M is making new innovations.

^ Yes, but the ride size goes from Arrow looper to Hyper and Giga with out a moderate 130ish high ride. No way for roller coaster newbs to work their way up. That's not exactly family friendly.

Have you been on it? Have you been on Cheetah Hunt? No?

You are calling it "a complete and utter load of s***"? How about the FACT that it's one of the best rides I've ever been on? Hmm? Do you live near this park? No, you don't, so before you call Cheetah Hunt a load of s***, just know that I've been on it multiple times, and it's the best ride at BGT.

You're a dips***.
Oh, were you expecting something here?
