I agree with what you're saying CoasterPeeps3. I am African American too, and I listen to and love all types of music from classical to heavy metal. I say listen to what you enjoy, who cares what style it is or if it is normally accepted by a certain ethnic group. That's not what it's all about.

Thank You for understanding, not many people appreciate music for what it is and for what it does. There's no such thing as Black or White people music. As I always say the 3 L's: LIVE it, LIKE it, LOVE it!!
And I will have to second that. Being from Oklahoma, everybody expects me to be some sort of a slack-jawed country music freak. I do like some country music, but I also like many other types of music too.
Not really a black and white thing, but I think it applies. [:)]
I'm a mexican and I like almost anything you throw at me, ask mop, I listen to rap, metallica,, blah gotta run, I'll list more when I get time.
/me gets dragged out
MoP is definitely a very good song, but IMO on that album Battery, Disposable Heroes, Leper Messiah and Damage inc. are all better, and The Thing That Should Not Be is about as good (IMO it's the most underrated Metallica song).
